The only part of the announcers statements I don’t agree with is the part about treating it to “imitate the highly prized black opal”. Andamooka typically has to be treated in order to get the opal colors to come out and pop. It’s the only way and it’s not for imitation reasons. 🤷♂️
I felt the same way these videos I make for shorts are copy and pasted off of random websites and wiki and most of the time I don’t even screen the text before I put it on 😅
I got a story about a couple, a flash of lightning from a thunder storm on a wet rock, a precious black bog opal boulder & the daughter in law still wears the silver slave bracelet & chained rings also set with Virgin Valley if I remember correctly that has the big cab of it as the center stone. I'll try to get a pic at the Lakeview Show this spring. There is only one claim here that puts out that sort of matrix that I know about & its on Peacock land.
