We are staying at The Avanti Palms, not far from you. Maybe we could drive you to Clearwater beach, maybe spend some time at Busch gardens on the way. We are also going to Discovery Cove so have free entrance to Busch Gardens.
Ah 1992 was my first ever trip! I was 14 and went with my parents. We stayed on what is now the Rosen International (by the big McDonald's!) Yes I know the Avanti Palms well, stayed there during my 2022 trip with my Mum. Nice hotel, it was just the housekeeping (or lack of!) that let it down! Would be lovely to meet you over there - I go home on the 23rd so will be there for a few days of your trip!
@@kezzakeane I stayed at the Avanti Palms 8 times when it was The Holiday Inn International Resort. It was 4 star then and the housekeeping was great. We booked to stay there and cancelled it after reading the trip Advisor reviews. But then we needed to save some money so rebooked the Avanti palms. So fingers crossed, I’ll take my own floor mop and dusters. What was the Rosen Inn International called in 1992?
