As long as you don't add Grim Reaper to your household, he should still function as a Grim Reaper even after makeover. He just can't be in playable households, otherwise he will become a "regular" Sim (he will still be a Grim Reaper with his unique responses to some social interactions and hidden traits, he just won't be reaping souls anymore) and the game will generate a new one if someone dies. I made my Grim look accurate to the folklore once and then forgot about it. I was genuinely terrified when my Sim had died.

Grim Reaper can go back to being the Grim Reaper by just removing him from the family the same way you added him! As long as you leave his name, age, etc. settings alone, you can modify his looks and then just yeet him out of the household, and he'll go back to being the regular old Reaper, just with the added benefit of being a Certified Hottie.

Btw Bonehilda all of her traits are locked. She is always creative, family oriented and neat. I have summoned her multiple times and she always has those exact traits along with the aspiration

Sad clown is just given to a random sim, just like the Day of the Dead Celebrator. You need to try the Night Wraith. He is a curse from Realm of Magic

You should do a townie makeover or should I say a 'most famous townies - Claire version' you can not change any facial features you can only add CC and it should include father winter, the pancakes, entire goth family, Mrs crumplebottom, vlad etc

About Grim: he literally has no fase data, so game just stretches a defoult fase of a baby onto him

You should also try the townie gender swap challenge. Idk if it’s even a challenge but pleasant sims did it for all the base game townies and it was so fun. You basically just switch their gender and give them a makeover.

Grim has to be my favorite out of all of your makeovers: He might look weird, but as a Sim: makes for a good base to work with. Also, extra cool points just because it happens to be Grim. I agree his features do need more definition, though: I have never seen a Sim more in need of a skin overlay. Ironically, this inspired me to make a good-looking Sim that happens to be a child of the Grim Reaper: I kind of want him to keep functioning as the grim reaper, but I just want a spooky family walking around in the world. Who knows: that family might end up with a few generations.

i’m pretty sure grim looks like that because he was probably made in early development of ts4, and his look didn’t matter so they made him like that. but since they made him with the beta version he looks different to how we make sims now since they were different mechanics.

Actually yamachan seems like he has a face and body structure that stays the same, but the outfit, hair and accessories that spawn on him are different each time. And that's also how the tragic clown works.

Then there's father winter who's always the same, unless you remove him somehow and he gets replaced by a random sim with the same beard.

If you change grim without adding him to the household, he keeps being the reaper even if you make him female.

Using Wonderful Whims mod, my grim reaper was automatically extremely attractive to both men and women sims. I added him to my sims family and had a son with one of them. Their child was white and had big eyes, but he was very good looking. I moved out the reaper son when he became an adult and had him get married. He had two kids, one of them drowned and the grandfather reaper came to reap her soul.

I think Bonehilda always looks like that. She looks a lot like one of James Turner’s sims who’s the child of Bonehilda
