I guess I tend to click on these videos to see how far these people are willing to go. The way the food is prepared is interesting and it does look good, but I’m not so sure about eating it.
Except for crushing tomatoes with cans the dishes looked inviting. There are vegetable mashers and hand held immersion blenders that accomplish the same thing. I do love what a good vodka does to a tomato sauce.
I cant imagine cooking and crushing the tomatoes with the stems on is going to be too healthy. Tomatoes are in the nightshade family and the entire plant aside from the tomato itself is poisonous to humans, including the stems(even some unripe tomatoes are poisonous). You could just as easily make the recipe and just remove the stems first. I don't understand why they presented it that way.

That is the grossest cooking I’ve seen. Who crushes the tomatoes with the bottom of a dirty can, didn’t look washed cause it still had the paper on it. Why cook tomatoes with stems on it. Raw egg on meat 🤢, but that may just be me. Lol
