In corporations, when a female says “I don’t feel comfortable.” there’s an HR process that kicks off an investigation into the person who allegedly caused the other to lose their sense of safety. It usually ends in termination of the accused whether there were sufficient grounds or not. In rare instances where there’s some nepotism or other key relationship the accused can survive, especially if the person from HR and the accused are besties.
