Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is one way how companies are linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are an important part of sustainable business practices.
Over the last 20 years, the concept of a sustainable organization has been that businesses must also pay attention to social and environmental issues in addition to profit which is the triple bottom line.
Along with this emphasis has been the development of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) whereby companies address areas of social concern and concern while maintaining their business focus on shareholders and other stakeholders.
Related to this topic, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara invited Petra Koudelkova, Ph.D. from Charles University as a guest lecturer as part of the Communication for Sustainable Development Course in Undergraduate Program of Communication Science. The topic for the lecture is Corporate Social Responsibility: Planet, People, and Profit in Sustainable Business (Time Code 00:57:00).
And as the opening lecture there will be Maria Advenita Gita Elmada, MSi. talks about the importance for the Corporate Communication to communicate the Corporate Sustainability (Time Code 00:05:08).
