I did that, I prayed as Jim said by keeping my eyes on Jesus for what He did, and I was in my room by myself, and Jesus healed me; I'm so amazed! I cried with joy. I used to have crocked feet, and I don't anymore. He healed me! Thank you, Jesus!

Wow! When Jim mentioned that Jesus became the lightning rod, I was immediately reminded of the recent image of the statue of the Christ in Rio de Janeiro being struck by lightning! Powerful illustration!
You know what I like about him? The fact that he refers to himself as "Jim." He doesn't insist on people calling him by his five-fold ministry gift. He's just Jim. This man doesn't worship his position in the church; he worships Jesus. I'm definitely listening. Also, whole entire ministries could be defunct if Baker's no-such-thing-as-generational-curses thing gains any level of momentum. But, the point people make about curses is not (as Jim references) God punishing; it's about the enemy having legal access to people through bloodline iniquities and/or practiced sin and/or ignorance. Curses are not the result of God's punishment. They're the result of the liar's and our own handiwork. That's the POV of curse-destroying ministry, anyway.

I grew up in the pentecostal- movement and since 62 years I believe in signs and wonders. My heard belongs to Jesus. He is my savior and my redeemer. But: this preaching is very dangerous, because god does not heal every person, who believe. We don't know why, but it's a fact.
I have listened to Jim. He doesn't allow comments on his RU-vid. So Jim, it is always God's will to heal I agree. But Jim is slicing up the simplest candy store advice to be healed. It is like a Pastor from a rich church where they don't understand the plight of many. He makes a lot of jokes and quick snappy teaching. The generation curses were taken care of on the cross. But the enemy attempts anywhere possible to manifest them. We learn to enforce Jesus victory on the cross, he became every curse. Jim tries to say that we all think if we deal with an enemy trying to bump into a family generationally that we are saying.. God curses people. Jim we are not thinking that. It is the enemy of families that attempts to kill, steal, and destroy. We deal with this, knowing that Jesus paid for it all. He is making quick snappy doctrines of his own. If someone is overeating and in the sin of gluttony, yes you can heal them. But can they hang onto to that healing. Andrew has spoken about these very things. Jesus didn't just heal people, He ministered to them. He didn't just snap His fingers and they were healed. He loved people and had compassion on them. Jim you have more to learn, praise God your doing His work!! Praying that you go deeper.The Bible says the Truth sets us free...many times that is what unlocks the door...truth. Jesus is a holistic physician, He wants people whole!! Body, soul, spirit...He wants the wholeness for each person. Not just immediate relief of a health issue.
Dear ones, in light of the people who were closet to our Savior, who were homeless, imprisoned, stoned to death, crucified upside down, and fed to lions, this Gospel just does not stand. That being said, God does heal people here and now for a time if its according to His will, but it is not something we "elevate" over the ultimate healing of the Soul and the Glorious gift of Salvation.
Who elevated healing over salvation? No one I've seen at Charis. Actually no one I've ever heard preach about the Great Physician. Well except for Jesus. He healed them first. And all of those martyrs, none of them got sick suffered and died, they died for truth, the Gospel of Christ. Healing is God's idea, it's His Nature, He named himself the God who heals us Jehovah Rapha. Lets be careful not to reduce our great God. He is everything. He is more than able. I pray your eyes and ears be opened in Jesus Name. The Word is Truth. As it is written we were healed by His stripes. Amen. Jesus did it all.
Hi Lynn wellcome to this ministry. Please stick around and learn the word of God with us. I was of calvinist church and my dad is a pastor who believes and teaches the same thing as you said. But God led me to the Gospel that set me free from confusion and now enjoying life with God's love more aabundantly. God bless you💜🙏
Please don’t believe it is being elevated above salvation. If that is what you heard, please listen again and ask Holy Spirit to show you truth in love.

Well, that's a nice saying, but could you look in the Gospels for yourself and show even one example of someone seeking Jesus for healing and being denied healing because Jesus told them it was not God's will for that person to be healed? I submit that God's will to heal all who will believe and receive is made clear in all Jesus' encounters with people when he was present in the flesh.
@@mchandler4722 Your Example: Paul asked the Lord to take away his thorn in his flesh 3 times. And what was His response? My Grace is sufficient for you. Mind you this was Paul who wrote at least 13 books in the Bible.
Jim is saying the prayer has to be short?? Jim there is no rule about the length of prayer. If someone speaks in tongues and the prophetic shows up to unlock doors to set people free, thats good. One vision/word from the Lord can open doors to healing. Jim this is not musical chairs. These are people not factory healing. I prayed for this hardened gay woman who was a believer. She was so hard, I prayed in tongues and saw a big black boot crush a beautiful daisy. That was about the abuse from her father as a girl. The vision opened the door to her heart and healing. Jim...I know some people will be healed..Jesus wants to heal them. But you need to stop this musical chairs comedy healing. Its not His heart.
