And I think it's kinda sad or maybe that's not the right word that we don't see as many women/wives (abusers in this case) as husbands coming here and the husbands saying hey she is abusing me, she is drinking or whatever - I think many especially Korean men have a stigma if I can use that word against them so it would be embarrassing to come here and say it. It's always the pig husband who never admits his own faults and then all of us point our fingers at him but very rarely the other way around.

@@watashiwaanni I totally agree. It's always "shocking" when a man comes forward when his wife/girlfriend comes forward with being abused and not the one that is doing it. It's always the reaction that "oh, it can't hurt that much" or "you're the man, just man up". I think it was a concern a while ago where the female seriously hurt the man but they didn't get how painful it was until they got to experience it themselves. Both sides can be bad and really hurt their partner both physically and mentally. The difference is that the man generally is bigger built or is seen more as a "fighter" or "head of the household" but females can still do the same.

Yes and usually it is also the mental abuse and manipulation that goes on. Especially the females who get pregnant with the sole purpose to "trap" the husband and tie them down with their claws. These women are very toxic. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like the mental abuse is the worst of all. Korean women however has it difficult when they get divorced and already have kids - very high stigma of divorcees sadly, but it is changing slowly.

@@watashiwaanni it's just the stigma overall and it's over the whole globe. Where I live, the stigma is not as extreme as it feels like it's in korea sometimes, but if you say "someone abused their partner" most people would think the guy hit the girl (in a straight couple). Abuse is often connected to physical abuse like getting beaten up or hit, but mental and verbal abuse still has such a scarring effect on people but it isn't less noticeable. With it being less noticeable as you can't see the wounds, people don't talk about it as much and don't see it as the same level of problem. The solution is often "just don't listen" but like sweetie, it doesn't work like that if you hear the same things over and over again for days, months or even years. It will get to you and it's such a power tool for the person that it using that type of abuse because they can do it in the dark with no one noticing it which is a huge advantage for the person but so wrong on every level possible.

For real I have been watched since the start and this concern had dongyeop mad. I remember watching the episode and was so damn frustrating with this man and his bs.

I do try, but when I have to explain some edv stuff, i get without reason quickly annoyed. Definitely need a change of enviroment to grow up some more.

Yeah same my parents don't fight usually but on that rare occasion they bring up the past (and its not good for everyone) but I'm usually a mix of stubbornness and can get annoyed although I do love my family I sometimes snap and that causes them to sometimes snap back a me
