the quran is right when it says only the guided ones will see the truth. no matter how much evidence you give the unbelievers, they will never believe. i really think its the arrogance in their heart that prevent them from seeing the truth. i know because i used to be the arrogance one who thought the universe revolves around me, that i was important when in fact i'm just a speck of dust in human history and nobody will remember me after i'm gone. i thank Allah every day for his mercy for making me one of the believers.

In 1915 Einstein proposed that time was relative, that the passage of time altered according to space, the speed of the person travelling and the force of gravity at that moment. Bearing in mind these differences in the passage of time, the period of time in which the universe was created as revealed in seven different verses of the Qur'an is actually highly compatible with scientists' estimations. The six-day period revealed in the Qur'an can be thought of as six periods. Because, taking into account the relativity of time, a "day" refers only to a 24-hour period experienced on Earth under current conditions. Elsewhere in the universe, however, at another time and under other conditions, a "day" could refer to a much longer period of time. Indeed, the word "ayyamin" in the period of six days (sittati ayyamin) in these verses (Qur'an 32:4, 10:3, 11:7, 25:59, 57:4, 50:38, and 7:54) means not only "days," but also "age, period, moment, term." In the first period of the universe, the passage of time took place much faster than that with which we are familiar today. The reason for this is that, at the moment of the Big Bang, our universe was compressed into a very small point. The expansion of the universe and increase in its volume ever since the moment of that explosion has extended the borders of the universe to millions of light years. Indeed, the stretching of space ever since that moment has had very important ramifications for universal time. The energy at the moment of the Big Bang slowed down the flow of time 1012 (one million million) times. When the universe was created the speed of universal time was higher up to a million million times, as time is experienced today. In other words, a million million minutes on Earth is the equivalent of just one minute in universal time. When a six-day period of time is calculated according to the relativity of time, it equates to six million million (six trillion) days. That is because universal time flows a million million times faster than time on Earth. Calculated in terms of years, 6 trillion days equates to approximately 16.427 billion years. This is within the estimated range for the age of the universe. 6,000,000,000,000 days/365.25 = 16.427104723 billion yearsOn the other hand, each of the six days of creation equates to very different periods, as we perceive time. The reason for this is that the speed of the passage of time declines in proportion to the expansion of the universe. Ever since the Big Bang, as the size of the universe doubled, so the passage of time halved. As the universe grew, the speed at which the universe doubled increasingly slowed down. This rate of expansion is a scientific fact acknowledged the world over and described in the text book The Fundamentals of Physical Cosmology. When we calculate every day of creation in terms of Earth time, the following situation emerges: Looked at from the moment when time began, the first day of creation (first phase) lasted 24 hours. This period, however, is the equivalent of 8 billion years in Earth terms. The second day of creation (second phase) lasted 24 hours. This, however, lasted half as long, in our terms, as the preceding day, in other words 4 billion years. The third day (third phase) lasted half as long as the second day, in other words 2 billion years. The fourth day (fourth phase) lasted 1 billion years. The fifth day (fifth phase) lasted 500 million years. And the sixth day (sixth phase) lasted 250 million years. Conclusion: When the six days of creation, in other words the six phases, are added together in Earth terms, the resulting figure is 15 billion 750 million years. This figure displays an enormous parallel with modern-day estimations.

i have read the quran in english and i agree with it totally , but as iam 18 years old and still learning; can you suggest some books on for example philosphy that reflect your way of dawah so i can strenghthen my iman too and spread the message also, because it is harder for me to pick it up from videos and easier if it is on text

Also look up Books on the science of the Quraan (The Linguisti rules and rythm of the Quraan) Read the bible, Understand it and understand the context and there of course dawah books that I wont mention here that u can use Formulate your reasoning using logical statments and without getting emotional. Also study some history on the muslim and christian empires thru the ages.

If you concider the therm "earth" as a particular constelation of atoms, than Andrew is right. Shabir asumes the therm "earth" as the substance of what earth is made (energy etc.), and so he conclude the substance (energy) was at one Point in time a singularity. It depend on the valuing of the therm earth what kind of meaning the sentence has. But that all is WORD-BELIEVING. To me the sentence truly say, that all there is, was one at the beginning. The word ("earth") wich is used don't matter at all, because you could replace it with Energy etc. and it will not Change message. Whatever processes happened that made the earth materialise, the stuff that makes up the must still have been present to undergo that transformation. Whatever energy was transformed into matter is still part of the earth. worfoz don't embarass yourself.
We don't even know if the big bang occurred, it's just the best working theory thus far. All math breaks down before the singularity, therefore we cannot know. But some scientists are starting to postulate that the universe is infinite and never had a beginning at all.

The Earth, that which is around us, that which we can touch, see etc. The Heavens, that which is further from our reach both physically and metaphysically. OK after watching many videos now and trying to understand how an atheist folks work out the question related to the existence of a Creator, I have to say I am stuck and need help. If atheism is the non-belief that there is a Creator based on lack of evidence, then logically the burden of proof has to be shared with them. Whether one considers the above position/claim to be a negative or a positive approach there has to be well established evidence with criteria to suggest that there is no evidence for the existence of a Creator otherwise you would automatically fall in the realm of speculations. An example although not original would be a rebuttal of the evidence presented by the opposing party. Many tried and unfortunately its always the same (1. state the lack of empirical evidence (a dishonest tactic because everyone knows that a Creator cannot be directly tested in a lab for obvious reasons) 2. State the problem of evil ( a typical cop-out which is obviously a two-sided argument thus cannot be used in this context. Ironically enough Dawkins cares about good and bad only when he debates theists. 3 other ways to divert subject topic and so on). I think the best way forward is to work with what we have on an a basis of evidence of course unfortunately after watching many Muslim/atheist debates I note that atheism fundamentally consists of avoiding the subject matter with a very predictable algorithm.

It is irrational to believe extraordinary claims on text alone. As such there is no good reason to accept the truth claims for the existence of a god, satan, heaven, hell, jinns, angels, souls or prophets. These ideas are claims which are completely unsupported by evidence.

What are they defining as Earth? It's constituent particles or what it is as it is now? the ambiguity of the Qur'an allows Muslims to interpret it to fit with Scientific understanding. If you look carefully you will realise that the claim that the earth and heavens were one unit isn't really telling you anything.
