Thanks for the video! It helped me plan my trip. I visited both sides last week (Feb 29-Mar 2 2024). Entrance fee at the Argentinian side was 20,000 pesos (~21 USD) - it can be paid by Visa/Mastercard/American Express or cash. "Garganta del Diablo" (Devil's Throat) is closed since 3 months ago - there was an overflow and they need time to repair the walkways. Brazilian side costs 100 Reals (also ~21 USD) and it can be paid in cash on a booth or using machines if you prefer cards. And speedboat trip at the Argentinian side cost me ~62 USD.
I’ve been binge watching your videos ever since I’ve discovered your channel. Great vibes and makes we want to travel more! You’re a cute couple and love your adventures, discovering other cultures, foods and locales. Looking forward to you sharing more of your explorations! :)
Awe thank you so much! We are sorry to have responded to your comment so late - we have been hiking for the past 10 days without service but are so glad you came across our channel while we were in the mountains! We have been really enjoying sharing our travels with people like yourself who are excited to do some more exploring themselves; our hope is to connect with other travel and food lovers like us!
@@nicoleandmico Hope you had a good hike together and looking forward to more videos of your adventures! Greetings from Ontario btw! 🇨🇦 Hope to make it out west to Alberta sometime 🙂 Your Banff / Rocky Mountain vids moved it higher on my bucket list
Amazing! So glad we were able to showcase a bit of the rockies! They are so stunning and after all our travels we still hold those mountains in high regard. One day we will make it out to do some videos in Ontario as well. We've heard there's lots to see (and taste! 😋)
Great video. I have a question for you. Is the devil throat the same circuit as upper trail or do you have to take the train back from the devil throat and hike? Our cruise ship is overnight in Buenos Aires and we're doing a day trip to Iguazu Falls. We heard we can hire a tour guide at the park so we're planning to make our time move efficiently use since our time is limited
I loved Iguazu Falls. AMAZING! It was a 22,000 step day as we walked so much. We spent 2 days exploring. We did the boat ride on the river, which was great, especially the dip in the falls. We also decided to do the yellow fever vaccination because we figured a mosquito doesn’t know the difference between Argentina and Brazil. I think Brazil requires yellow fever vaccination for entry.
Yes our step count that day was through the roof! Thanks for sharing your experience. The boat ride and dip sound amazing. We will definitely have to try that out next time.
I definitely want to do this next year for my birthday. Is there a way for you to enter the Brazil side and go through the Argentina? or you have to stay on that country's side of the park?
Yes highly recommended to visit Iguazu😁 The falls were actually better than we expected considering how much hype there is for this attraction. We heard people were able to move between borders to check it out from both sides. We never did but we heard the Brazil side has the best panoramic views of the falls and the Argentina side gets you up close to the falls. Have fun trip planning, I'm sure you'll have a blast 😊
The best way to get there in our opinion is via the busses. There are many that run from the central bus terminal in the town and all we did was show up and buy a ticket for the next available bus going to the falls. It was very easy!
The video you filmed is really cool. I am thinking of traveling to Argentina next year. I will go to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, and Mendoza. Thanks to you, I enjoyed watching it From Korea 🇰🇷
Great video! Did the vendors and Iguazu Falls ticket sellers you bought from accept payment in dollars at the USD Blue Rate? Or do you still need Argentina pesos for all these transactions?
Oh. Did you guys skip Brazilian side? In Brazil there is a such beautiful park and in this park we can found many species of birds. Hope you can return to South America and visit Brazil 🇧🇷
Sadly we couldn't do the Brazil time when we visited. There were still lots of restrictions because of covid when we visited in Feb 2021 so getting into Brazil was a big headache. We will go sometime!
Thanks for the very helpful video guys, we are heading there in a week. Quick question, did you have to buy your tickets for the park online beforehand? We read somewhere you can't purchase a ticket at the gate. Thanks!
Hi there! Sorry for getting back to you so late, we have been trekking in the mountains without signal for the past 10 days but have made it back now! We did not have to purchase the park pass online before we went. We read a blog post that said we had to (maybe the same one you came across) but can confirm that as of the end of Feb 2021 when we visited, this was not the case! Have an amazing time visiting the falls - they are incredible!
hello guys, how are you, there is an anecdote with former president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, when he came to Argentina, they took him to see the falls and when he saw them, he was very surprised and exclaimed poor Niagara Falls, it's so small it's like If I were a grain of sand in relation to these magnificent falls, I send you a big greeting
I am totally in love with you guys ♥️ You 2 are so heartwarming 🥰 Planning a small world trip with my son next year and we might head to the brasilian side of the Iguazu Falls 🇧🇷 I am very excited to see more videos and where you are heading to 🤗
Awe thank you so much! We are so glad you enjoyed the video. We hope your plans for your trip with you son come along well these next few months! Let us know if you have any questions that you think we can help with!
Hi Gail, thanks for watching! Sorry it has taken us so long to respond to your comment, we were backpacking in Patagonia for the past 10 days without signal but have made it back 😀 We have updated the video's description to include a link to a previous video we made where we go into quite a bit of detail about the blue rate as well as how to take advantage of it as a visitor to Argentina. I will try to link it here (hopefully YT doesn't delete it!): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-49_UIUa9deM.html As a very brief summary, the blue rate is the unofficial exchange rate used in Argentina as a result of the economic crisis the country is experiencing. When used correctly, you can get double the amount of pesos than the official exchange rate when you exchange dollars, euros, pounds, etc. It helps make Argentina a very affordable country to visit!
@@nicoleandmico thank you for your answer 😊 And no worries, we know you guys are travelling so no need to feel bad for not answering sooner, it's ok 👍 Continue to have fun and we will continue to watch you guys 😊
