i bought the ozark trail 10x12 after watching the you tube reviews. Found it for $409 on javaria. The poles are probably not as big as this one, but it has a nice tote to store it in with wheels so one person can handle it, and a floor. How much was this one?

It's gone up a lil since I bought it, as with everything else these days. I dont remember exactly what I paid for it about 7 years ago without digging through old emails and receipts, but think it was in the 450-550 range for the canvas, and in the 800 range with the frame & floor included back then. It looks like with the Sportsman's Guide member discount the canvas is currently going for $585, the aluminum frame is going for $315 and the optional floor is going for $126.

The pole kit had three types of poles bagged up in the kit: horizontal, vertical, and rafter poles. There is a 4-way coupler for the center of the roof ridge and two three-way couplers with knobs for the front/rear of the roof ridge. Assemble two segments (double-male and male-female segments) to make the 6 ft lengths on each type of roof pole. Drape the canvas atop the rafters and make sure the peak grommets are on the outside of the fabric and the window opens/closes from the inside of the tent. The little knobs atop the peak couplers unscrew and fit into the grommets, and then get re-inserted to stretch and secure the peak fabric to the ends of the roof peak. Then, start with the middle leg pole on one side, and eventually install the two end legs on that same side to get one side of the tent up. Install the legs on the other side of the tent in a similar manner. Once it's up, make sure the tent is aligned over any flooring material (if installed), and widen the stance of the tent a little bit. Then, pull down the fabric to cover the sides. I tucked the plastic sod-skirt underneath the poles on the inside of the tent, but the sod skirt could just as easily be placed outside the bottom of the tent. At this point, tie the inside straps around the leg poles in a shoe-bow fashion and stake out the bottom of the tent. You can leave a stake off the entryway portion to allow greater movement of the door area. I spray painted my pole set and used a paint marker to denote horizontal, vertical legs, and diagonal rafter segments in case I lose the plastic shipping bags they came in. Hope it helps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bUje3id4sC0.htmlsi=iLawtvDlteZVQk9U
