Guide - How To Get Runes In Diablo Immortal - New Modes Abyssal Verge & Erebban Castle 

This Guide is based on 2 new modes, which is for runes. But Runes can also be obtained from Elder Rift, Dungeons and Open world farm. But again, since these two modes are focused of Major Update and Rune System, Covering those. I turned in 10 Abyssal Essences. Got a couple blue items, white items, and some gold. Was absolutely not worth the effort, and only got one rune during all those runs. I then did 6 elder rifts and got two runes from those. I thought these new modes were supposed to be the best way the get runes....

Runes are a complete waste of time. The bonuses are so small that are after they are strifed, basically worth nothing. Not worth wasting time on

I’m sick of blizzard launching all these new game modes that don’t even work when launch.

Get in a party with at least one player and run Tower(s).. 15 min run gave me 10-12 runes. Also, the Abyssal Verge is GREAT way to get legendaries.. basicly one 2 min run gives you guaranteed 1-3 lege items, this is super important especially when trying to build up your essence bars to rank 4 or finding newest essences. ;)

Ye. Not 100% guarantee. Did 15 portals yesterday and no rune. Exchanged 10 horns and didn't get rune either. Went to dungeons and got 1 after 3 runs. Thous idiots from netshity fucked up again with drop rate just like in terror rifts and oblivion pillars.

Accused Towers are the best way to get them.

I've found 11 runes so far, 6 of them in dungeons, 2 in open world bounties, 1 in Erebban, 2 in Abyssal Verge

10 elder rift runs: 2-3 runes 10 runs abyssal and erebban each: ZERO runes You really need to set your partner program under fire to let them adjust this issue. Otherwise its dead on arrival content 🤷‍♂️

As someone mentioned above, Accursed Tower is definitely the best place to get some runes... Elite mobs left and right, more efficient and palpable results

Just like terror rift before no essence in how many run, hope they fix this soon

Quick tip: 10 abyssal runs is much harder than running elder rifts. Fast and easy

The new dungeons for runes are crap. All my runes are from dungeons or openwrold farming 😂. They need to fix the drop rate on those rune dungeons. 30 Abyssal verge for me amd got squat. No thanks.

I don't think I've seen 1 blue rune in accursed. probably picked up around 130 since they added them. So say its the (20). We really going to farm like 530,441 of them so we can have a yellow? I did get 4 of my blue runes from inf1 dngs and the other 2.. well i wont lie, the market for 1500 and 3000. :) People I know with yellow runes got them from inf2. Needless to say, I wouldn't put a lot into them right now. 400 is around the corner and they should become very common for us then (knock on wood).

I have collected 7 runes so far and I have not played the Abyssal or Castle but 1 time each. I have gotten my drops from routine mob killing during daily bounties.

No rune drops but i get good amount of leg items. Usually 2 per run

Yea I’ve had better luck with Runes doing Random Dungeons….

Just run dungeons or lazy farm as always. Way more runes

You can also get runes by Dungeons and open world farm.

Why was I down there and those two dungeon portals weren’t there for me just last night??

Erebban was dropping 2 fragments for me. Quicker than the abyss (for me)

I did my 20 normal rifts for hero journey and I got 4 runes from all 20 runs

Useless no runes a waste of time 😂 much better rift and open world or dungeon

I got all my runes in the Dungeon in less than 2 hours... ❤

Is this mod available for Hell 1 players? If not, what is the minimum difficulty for this to be available?

I can tell you that one of the ways to get runes is doing hidden lairs, I was able to get two runes from doing just a few lairs.
