Good info indeed, thank you! But geez, are all those guitars yours?? Do you play them?? There are three basses, a 335-ish beauty, even a telly... I'm just blown away, sorry, ignore it! Keep it on! 😀✌
There aren't any affordable flats and apartments! Just rooms for rent in shared house with 7-12 people in their early twenties. It's a mess! On top of that the flats and appartments are usually in bad condition with mold and other issues. A mess! Too expensive for this type of city...not comparable to Paris, Amsterdam or Madrid...
Hello, hope you’re doing well. I want to ask you about co housing in Brussels, if it’s a good idea for someone moving to Brussels and don’t know anyone there.
I think co-housing is a great idea! 😃 There are several opportunities for that in Brussels. It would be a good way to get to know people if you make sure you all get along well! There are different Facebook groups that have many co-housing opportunities. I would definitely give it a go 😀
@@JustBrusselsThings I checked different websites for this concept. I dont know if you know them or you have an idea if there are good, if you can give me yr opinion. Like coloc housing and co housing websites for co housing in Brussels. Thank you 🫶🏼
It’s your landlords responsibility - not the tenant’s - so they should go to the authorities (I believe it is the municipality, but I am not 100% sure).
Hello and thank you for your informative video! I'll have a temporary contract with Vrije U. Brussels, and I'm thinking of either Etterbeek or Ixelles. Do you think within 750€, it's possible to find a furnished accommodation there with utilities (gaz/electric etc) included? And secondly, what are some cities super close to VUB University, aside from the above two? Thanks in advance!
It depends on what you are looking for! Are you thinking of a studio of living with roommates? Try looking in Schaerbeek or Sint-Joost-Ten-Node also! It’s a bit further away, depending on what side of the municipality you are looking! ☀️
@@JustBrusselsThings Thank you for your reply. I am looking for a studio, just for myself. But I don't mind living with just one flatmate. Close to the VUB.
@@susovan97 With a roommate I think it could be possible if you want it furnished and with gas/electricity included. I would become a member of as many Facebook groups as possible and search 🔍 be aware that some look for tenants with very short notice (I wasn’t really used to that), so it can mean that something will come up all of the sudden.
Hi Felipe! ☀️ Personally I have had no issues renting apartments in Brussels being an English speaker. It seems that Brussels landlords really do know that lots of renters are English speaking. You might want to have a French speaker look through your contract so you are not signing something you do not know anything about.
Thanks for the question! Immoweb.be is the most common website searching for apartments. I have personally no experience with Spotahome. What is your experience with them so far?
