Hey their, love your show! I was watching one of your older vids where u go fishing at lonehill dam and catch a couple carp and nearly lose your rod. I would like to take you back their to a secret area where fish bite every 20 minutes. Good luck with the fishing👍🏻

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this. The reason I didn't suggest those alarms is because to be honest I didn't like them. They were slightly complicated to use and had odd qwerks that were noisy if left on the wrong setting. I much preferred the little wychwoods, they felt to me like little sticks of dynamite, simple, effective and true to its purpose.

Bro how do I fish carp in high flow current rive, normally no ones fishing carp where I’m at, but once I cut crazy big carp on hi-low rig with live bait. Carp isn’t a native fish in our area, it’s even harmful for this river and government encourages people to fish out some species that aren’t native here. The rive current is so strong that none of the rigs work, i would usually have 114 grams (4oz) lead pyramid to keep my rig steady in the water and with feeders , boilies etc. it would have be substantial. I have to step-up to heavier stuff, so what would be the best rig to use in my situation? What do you think the best setup would be in the river? Thanks

Hey man. I would suggest as heavy gripper lead as you can cast. It will also help if the lead is slightly flatter so it will have less drag while the gripper nubs on the lead can hold the rig in place. I suggest a drop off /lead clip system so that your lead can drop off when the fish picks it up. A beaked hook instead of a straight point is s good idea. Also back lead if possible to stop your line from bowing too much. My last suggestion is look for where there are pockets of slow moving water. The carp spend most of their time in the slower water because they can feed there with out expanding too much energy. Best of luck!

What about bobbins?
@ItsTippToppFishing
@ItsTippToppFishing 3 года назад
True! I did forget to suggest bobbins! Bobbins in short are pretty simple. Make sure when you clip them that they have room to travel up with a run and travel down with a drop back bite. In terms of which specific ones I suggest, it doesn't really matter which ones you get so long as they weigh enough, don't get tangled in the line and can both have a solid stationary grip on the line and have a clip that allows the line to pass through it.
