From a really old guy I loved it, great video. Yes the HW figures are great but I really love the variety within Subbuteo including the new stuff, even picked up a couple of Hasbro Premier League teams recently, great kits and terrific to play with.

My first box of Subbuteo was the celluloids, in the box was a red and blue team and two goals, I was 5 years old and was the best present I received. Moved in in the next few years with Heavy Weights, such a great design and all of those teams, magic.

Great video - just subscribed and found the base info insightful as haven’t played in 35 years and am bringing it back for my nephews and grandchildren. Have bought a load of different stuff from Subbuteo world and now looking forward to deliveries keep up the great work 🍺

i only use lightweights- totally agree-80s teams are by far the best. now have teams commissioned and have them done on lightweight bases only. also got a couple of teams in the hasbro bases

Really enjoyed this video. Cheers for putting it together. I like those Hasbro bases. I don't have many of them, but they're so easy to play with, and remind me a lot of how Image2 bases run.

Just getting back into this. Had a World Cup 1970 Edition back in the day. Long-lost now :(. Picked up a Euro '96 set and really like those mono-block Hasbro bases. Prefer them to the La Leggenda, Total Soccer and Zeugo flat bases, which are what I've tried so far (they're all good though). Got a used France 98 set on the way. More of those Hasbro bases...great!

Loved this episode, Finally someone to put the Hybrids on the map of the sequence of Subbuteo Figures. But got to desagree in two points :). 1. There's 3 different figures of Hybrids: The Royals, the Hydras and the Micros. I can send you some images of them. 2. LW are not (for me :)) the best figure that was ever made: They were the reason of the Oblivion of the Hybrids. That's why I Hybridize them into Hybrios figures ;). Great show Stewart, congrats, and keep on flicking.

Hi Stewart. Great video but for me bases are about whether you can swerve/curl them so clip would have been better if you made this point. If you can't then it's not subbuteo for me. Modern flat bases have no interest for me.
