Sadly Sehun truly isn’t confident enough to sing more. He debuted mainly for his dancing and his vocals weren’t that developed back then. EXO is a group with a lot of amazing vocalists so it must have been hard for him to have confidence in his singing. Company also rarely gives him singing lines - he mainly raps so he doesn’t have much opportunities. Neverthless members always encorauge him to sing more and praise his tone and voice. There were some moments during concerts when Sehun asked members if he could sing some of their lines in songs and they gave it to him and when his turn came up all members looked at him while smiling and were listening to him properly and then praised him. He was very embarrassed but it shows that he wants to improve and he has exo’s full support he is just lacking confidence.

Baekhyun has lost Xiumin and Chen from exo CBX so he is working on his solo career and kai wasn't apart of a sub unit so he's also focusing on his solo career and Chanyeol and shun are in a subunit , exo SC still so he does get lines
@@brandytaylor7170 They are in the military so obviously they are going to focus on their solo career more these days to fill the gap. It’s natural but that doesn’t mean they are not coming back as a group anymore. All SM male groups came back when their military hiatus was over - look at SuJu. Also Xiumin just came back from the military and Chen isn’t going anywhere. Members were clear that they want to stay together just as they are now and that they will do so with or without SM.

I don't know why you're getting so defensive... I've been an Exo-l for almost 6-7 years and I would love for them to comeback but reasonably seeing as Chen has a wife and baby, and by the time he is out of the military that Baek and Chanyeol may be called already and if they are they can't postpone it and then by the time they get back sehun and kai might have to go, so it may be a while until we get the whole group back but even so there is a good chance it won't be the whole group. especially with all the hate Chen is receiving.

I was just addressing your quote : “...I don’t know if they will even make more group songs...” which in my reading comprehension meant that you are doubting they will ever come back as a full group again. I personally think there is no reason for us to think they won’t. SuJu has more members than exo but they managed to overcome and survive their long military hiatus as a group. It will take a long time for us to see them on stage as one group but it shouldn’t affect them much. As you said the military period is long so I hope it will also help to decrease the amniosity kerries feel towards Chen. And yes giving the current military situation Sehun will definitely have more chances to showcase his vocals if he chooses so, which I sincerely hope he will. I will always support all their solo activities and sub-units activities as much as I support their full group ones.

Actually Sehun wouldn't find any of them scary as he's the most spoilt maknae ever. He never need to bring his wallet when he's with them LOL! Sehun was my very first bias but you never escape him. He’s always going to wreck you lol it’s not even a choice he will always pop up and you fall in love all over again. Sehun is the biggest EXOL in the world, he loves his members more than anything else. They pretty much raised him and that’s one reason he is so loyal to them. They are his made family. Suho and sehun have said so many times they will get married and be roommates forever, probably my favorite ship, they are so touchy and affectionate. There are a couple shows that they went on where the hosts commented on how touchy they were but they didn’t stop lol. Exo-sc is sehun and chanyeol’s subunit, they are officially registered as the best selling subunit in Kpop and they did it all without a single shred of promotion from sm. 4 of their 6 songs from their subunit debut have also been filed under the Korean Music Copyright Association as they were written and composed by SC. Which also makes them the most successful subunit in exo.

They've been entertaining fans for almost 9 years now and I also saw a show where Sehun was there, he said that for the past 9 years, all of their schedules were fully booked and they hardly had time to have some vacation and to rest. 2020 became a blessing in disguise for him. Poor baby, I want them to rest and comeback when they're fully recharged. That's my ultimate wish as a fan. ❤️ anyway, KOLO is coming, and we are kinda fully booked for our individual members' projects ❤️ Xiumin was already out from the military today but is still waiting to be officially discharged on Dec 6. I knew about them before (I heard them on the Kdrama To the Beautiful You starring Minho from SHINee and Sulli from f(x) where they were singing MAMA and I remember loving the song and looking it up...but that was it...and then I watched and fell in love with EXO Next Door...where Sehun caught my eye) but never got into them until I started watching Busted last winter and Sehun once again stole my heart and eyes. So I watched the Monster MV....and that was IT. I have had to deal with the fact that I am unlikely to ever see them in concert, and also have had to watch 2 members enlist already. And I became a fan JUST a few months shy of their last album/comeback in who knows how long. I am eating up any and everything they give me, and I am also really loving all the other SM artists. But EXO is just special. And Sehun is pretty much always going to be my bias. Although I dearly love them all.
Sehun is the member that has grown immensely since their debut, of course, all exo members grew a lot as well, but with Sehun you can really see huge progress. He got so little lines in their first years, and now he is in a sub-unit with Chanyeol, just the two rappers. I was so happy when they announced it, cuz now Sehun can really show what he has learnt and he can shine 😊 but actually after I saw Suho performing Just us 2 during their concert, i began to hope he would join exo-sc more often hahah, the 3 of them just sound so so good together
Sehun helps in choreographing exo's dances in concerts. He's a great rapper and I love his voice, I don't know why SM didn't give him enough lines. He's so cute kid and a loyal friend too. Sehun biased here!! Though I love all the guys. Thank you for doing Cesar Oh's guide... Sehun does lack in confidence in singing, but he has gotten a whole lot better... He was bashed a lot as a rookie for being "untalented" due to the fact when they debuted he had braces and wore them up until 2016/7ish. He wore a specific type of braces called a lingual crib, which were placed on the inside of his teeth rather than the outside, they were to help correct a lisp he had in his younger years. As such he didn't get a lot of vocal time up until fairly recently, but he has improved in confidence especially in his vocals since Chanyeol convinced him to be in a sub-unit with him. His exposure and lines with Exo-SC have done wonders for him. Other than talents, his personality is amazing he is super sweet, and mischievous, but he is actually one of the first Exo members that will call out fans and reprimand them if they are misbehaving. He lives by honor and honesty, and he'll clam up or call someone out on bad taste if they ask him stupid or probing questions, as such he will not cater to some fans trying to push the boyfriend agenda on him in fan-meetings, he doesn't let them get away with it, but he will give great advice and do his best to cheer up fans, and I love him for that.
He is the evil maknae but the one who united EXO coz every hyung just spoiled him too much, for kyungsoo he has the privilege on asking kyungsoo cook meals anytime he want, just like waking up kyungsoo in the middle of the night just to cook for him 😄
Sehun has a lisp and was wearing lingual braces before that's why he wasn't so confident in his singing. He also has the fewest lines in EXO so his vocals was quite a mystery until EXO-SC. He improved the most, vocal wise. Love your videos, Austin!
I don’t know if you missed the part with Vivi, but he actually got him due to his vocal/dancing insecurities because at the beginning, SM literally gave him no lines 💔 at most in some songs he would say E.X.O. 😔❤️ BUT over the years, you can really see his exponential growth, and his growing vocal and rap parts!! We’re all just waiting for the solo album to see him showcase all his talents~ Sehun is well loved by all members, even D.O. No one can say no to him (fans included). He’s an absolute baby and we love him for his self and love for others. Baekhyun also ALWAYS picks up his calls, no matter what he is doing, where he is, it’s actually quite funny 😂

This maknae's loyalty to his brothers is immeasurable. In return, he is well-loved by his hyungs. Everyone of them is fond of Sehun. He is just a 6 year old kid in a 26 year old body. He is still a baby. Even his hyungs are still treating him as a baby. He's really the cutest maknae ever. Generally speaking, Sehun is kinda the most handsome member. Although, people do have their own preferences.. (Like me, I like D.O and Kai more) He is kinda an old soul and kinda mature. He's shy too. But he is very loyal and supportive, he always support other members' solo activities, like with Exo CBX fansign and D.O's movie conference. As you pointed out, he had rainbow haircolor. He is a member who changes his haircolor the most. He changes it for over 24 times for 8 years.. Rather then confidence its more the fact that sm didn't want him singing so he didn't really learn singing while training he more focused on dance and a little bit of rapping he also had a lingual brace which hindered his singing back in rookie days and was always in pain with it, hes only recently (2016) started having more than one small line in exo songs, they debuted him very young and personally to me he needed more time to develop but with Chanyeols help hes flourished so much, Chanyeol helped guide him with rapping for the exact album and you can tell! since then hes only gotten better and the exo sc unit is wonderful!

He may look cold on the outside because of his rbf but he is one of the softest and most caring member of the group Also EXO-SC is a sub-unit with both Sehun and Chanyeol, definitely worth a listen, watch and reaction, they had full creative direction on every song on the album
@@enriqegonsalez8083 No, Xiumin is many, many things, but he is NOT a leader. I am pretty sure the very idea of being the leader made him nauseous. He is much more confident now, but he is still one of the more quiet members. Being the leader requires that they do a lot of talking for the group, and that is never going to be something Xiumin would want to do. Kris' personality was much more suited for being the leader (even if he seemed cold and aloof) because he was just more confident and extroverted. And I don't think there is anyone more suitable for being a leader than Suho. That boy was practically genetically engineered to lead EXO.

In EXO's case, SUHO is the most seniority in the group as for his long time training prior to the created of the group so he's designated as the group "grandian" with the name SUHO. It's the same goes with SUPER M, Taemin was offered to be a leader but he refused and pushed Baekhyun in as a leader!
Your right, he didn't get alot of parts early on, and he was intimidated with singing and tried rapping, but he was a dancer and felt most comfortable dancing, being very good at it like Kai and Lay. He has grown over the years into a very confident person now, yet still mischievous and playful...he and Chanyeol are two peas in a pod, and he and Suho are close brothers. Over the years, more like Mama Suho and son. Sehun is a fashionista and is always invited to shows in Paris and Milan, having the streets filled with fans there for him...he has promoted many fashion lines, and he is a very popular model. More Sehun facts!: Sehun is a sweetheart and honestly the glue that holds Exo together. I don't know what Suho would've done without him, tbh. He even goes with Sehun overseas when Sehun has fashion shows or other events, they really have the cutest relationship. Baekhyun and Sehun also get into a lot of shenanigans, they like to game together, and Baek loves to bite him. Sehun very much so has an "I don't really care" attitude about him in that not too much the Exos do bother him, they can bite and fall all over him and his face won't really change lol. Sehun is one of the few members that Kyungsoo allows to be all over him and bother him without much fanfare. He's their baby, basically, and he's damn proud of it. Sehun is also *insanely* popular in China, like mad insane. His biggest fansite over there is always putting his face all over actual commercial planes and subways, building schools and bridges, and just other massive projects for him. Sehun was very close with Lu Han, one of the ex-Exo M members, as well as him and Lay, and his Mandarin remains the best in the group. You're correct in that he isn't the most confident in his singing, even with rap in the beginning he basically got little to no lines at all. He's improved a lot and has gotten more lines since then but it's only recently that he's really started to sing more.

sehun doesn’t get many parts in exo songs so that’s probably why his voice might be under developed. fortunately, he gets so many singing chances in exo-sc, and that’s why many fans are glad that the subunit exists. it showed us different sides of sehun and chanyeol that we might not see in exo.

I'm also a baby EXO L, I started to get into kpop last February this year and yes EXO hits me sooo hard. I also don't know why everyone loves Sehun I don't find him attractive and he doesn't have much screen time so I don't usually notice him but after watching a few videos and shows with sehun I eventually fell in love with him 😍 He's so adorable! I do believe that EXO is just that group you can't have a bias. Your bias list will get wrecked every comeback, concert, or just any kind of project EXO will come out with. They're just that good of a group where talent is overflowing. They're good people as well that cares not only about themselves but as well as the fans and humanity in general. I think they get help for choreographing now but they still compose their own songs and albums. Their a group with albums that I genuinely love. He gets little to no lines, little to no spotlight, and he’s the freakin main dancer but almost never dance in the middle and is always at the side or at the back. I think what you said about Sehun only applies to the early years. I think ever since 2018 he gets the spotlight from SM a lot. Look at the choreographies of Tempo, Love Shot, Obsession... and he now gets just as many raplines as Chanyeol. He's definitely being treated as a Main Rapper and Main Dancer now, I'm so glad. Even before 2018, SM let him shine sometimes for example in The Eve Choreo being in front together with Kai. But still it wasn't a lot. @@easyb176 idk, i mean yeah he gets more lines now and such(which is something sm should’ve done from the start🤷🏻♀️) but man i can never not worry about them being mistreated bc how sm promotes exo is still unjust and let’s be honest, their promotion is little to nonexistent.(like with the obsession era and the thing about the production of the albums and nonexistent promotion???) But with individuals, sehun is one of the worst promoted member, like for ex. He had a cover in one magazine along with kaibaek but his is the only one that wasn’t posted in the official twt page. It may just be me being overly sensitive but little stuff like that just irks me. (No hate towards kaibaek ofc it’s just an example). That’s why I’m so happy to see him more confident now compared to say 4 years or, heck, even a year ago! despite the lack of support from his agency.

The fact that you noticed his insecurities with singing shows how great of a vocal coach you are. I became an exol in 2013 and I remember he was not popular at first and people were saying all the time he was not talented enough, he can’t sing, and should leave exo because he was being down the group ☹️ he was hurt and depressed so he got his dog ViVi to give him strength. I think that’s why ViVi is so loved in the fandom. His hyungs encouraged and believed in him so he’s improved the most out of everyone but I think he still has some insecurities about singing..
My baby Sehun >< he is such a precious man, many thought his looks are intimidating but he is really a goof ball and little sunshine, he deserves more recognition, he debuted as a rapper and a main dancer but now he worked hard on his vocals too, his tone is so deep and warm, he is a songwriter and a choreographer and has a bright future in modeling and acting too! I'm living for the day he debut solo and show his real colors to the world

For me, he's the first and only idol to give a really genuine vibe, like, you look at him, hear what he's saying and immediately come to conclusion - he's a good person! That's was my first impression of Oh Sehun. It didn't change till today. I also think the male stereotypes which say that boys and men cannot show emotions is toxic. Emotions are not weakness!!!!

Sehun reminds me so much of my little brother, that's exactly the feeling I have towards him. His dry sense of humour and dorky laugh totally get me. And he is such an amazing dancer (really you must see the short MV for his solo track "On Me", which he wrote and fought to release the way he wanted, as well as all the other sub-unit videos as you can get to them) EXO really are family and they tease each other mercilessly and give each other a hard time like siblings often do. They are also each other's biggest cheerleaders and defenders and that is just one of the many reasons I adore EXO.
