Guide to fix battery problems & JBL Charge 2 Battery Replacement - Repair And Rework 

My JBL Charge 2+ stopped working and would only show the power light on but nothing else worked including on/off. Could not “reset” and plugging in only appeared to brighten the power light. I followed this video to orient myself to the procedure and got lucky because I tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery and sure enough the unit turns on and off and is working again. I didn’t need to disassemble as much as this video to unplug the battery as it can be accessed from the side without removing the battery and at most only needed to unscrew one speaker without needing to disconnect the speakers. Thanks for your video it helped me immensely and I’m thankful my fix was so basic. What a PITA to get to the battery though...

Hi, could you be knowing why by charge 2 is not charging even after changing the battery? I have now ordered two batteries but still not working. When I plug the speaker it only lights in one same position.

Are you serious? Break this thing apart to change a battery, I’d rather keep using my charger or buy another speaker… this bullshit
