Guide to Lumber River State Park | Boating and camping on the river | Griffin's Whirl 2 

Lumber River State Park is great for boating down a long stretch of river. Griffin's Whirl in a interesting stop to see the river flow backwards. There are many boat-in camp sites and regular camp sites with 24 boat launch locations. It is excellent for a relaxing day on the river meandering or fishing. The trails are nothing to write home about. Bugs can be an issue during certain times of the year on the trails because some trails are along swamp land.
