What a beautiful destination. The location of these tombs was so special, right by the sea. And to think that some of the tombs were carved straight into those amazing-looking rock formations! I probably would've missed that if went there myself, thanks for pointing that out!
Love seeing two anthropologists who actually know what they are talking about show a historical site. Great video and very informative. Keep up the great work. I think you guys would really dig Bagan in Myanmar.
I am sure you are right. It is on the bucket list and it is on the World tour. Late 2026 if the route stays the same. I actually was going to prioritize it for this year, but the current political climate is difficult, apperently.
I very much enjoyed watching this. What a fascinating place! There is not a doubt in my mind me and Kimberly could spend copious amounts of time wandering around here. We have yet to visit Cyprus, but your vlog makes for an excellent reminder to make sure we put the Tombs of the Kings on our activities list for that trip. Thanks for sharing! ~ Neil
Thanks. I hope you get there soon. It has a great balance of food, culture and history. Similar to Greece, but a little more diverse. I appreciate your support so much.
Nice video! I've just come back from Paphos and had a great time exploring these tombs as well. I missed 6, 7 and 8, and wish I had researched the site more before I went, but I plan to go back again next year for a closer look and to take some more photos. I liked what you had to say about the votive shrines of tomb no 2. On one part of the site I came across what might have been a hornets nest. I could hear this buzzing sound. Needless to say, I didn't hang around!
Our Meze vlog and road trips suggestions come out this week. You have probably already done them but maybe it will be fun for you too. Thanks for all the love on here. I will check out your stuff more in the next couple days my friend.
