South Mountains State Park is a wonderfully diverse park with lots of activities. This video provides a short guide to South Mountains State Park, and the High Scholes Waterfall / Headquarters loop trail. Hiking is the main activity, but you can go mountain biking, horseback riding, camping, boating, and picnicking. The trails are diverse, from short and easy to long and strenuous. The highlight is High Scholes Waterfall, an 80 foot waterfall.
