This is an introduction the main towns outside of Leeds (see our separate film for that!). This covers the districts of Bardford; Calderdale (Halifax); Kirklees (Huddersfield) and Wakefield.
nice video to learn more about this part of the world, but it would be much easier for us abroad to follow it with place names written on screen (with a map)
Nice Video. Glad to see my home town of Wakefield getting some love. Would have liked to have seen Ossett featured too. And also that Pontefract cakes were named due to the heritage.
The recent videos posted in 2020 have maps and Closed Captions. Since 2015 I have created over 160 talks on Yorkshire and now creating videos out of these - it will take years - and includes car and drone footage. Some are full films up to 90 mins and I will be putting up some "Essential" which will be short introductions to the longer ones.

@@dave9401one of the great things about growing up in Bradford for me was that it made me respectful of other people. I would love to see some people try get away with being like that if they were dropped in Bradford, always brave when they are behind a keyboard.
