Having spent alot of time in that area is of great significance, a beautiful reminder, but absorbing the Himalayan vibrations, along with Andy, is of greater value, as it helps me to clarify, be present in the "here and now'. Love your calm soothing voice, and in fact, Andy, if you ever get to read this, I think I may have met you by the Dalai Lama's Monastery several times, soon after you were ordained, as one of his monks.

Thank you so much for the meditation sessions. You've provided me choice that I chould heal my mind or believe a therapist when she told me there was no hope. I was diagnosed with cognitive impairment which would progress to something worse. It hasn't. Choosing to mediate has opened the most amazing world for me. When I was listening on the app, I thought it was Richard Ayoade doing the guided meditation and got SO happy. The similarity in both your voices is uncanny!

Andy is one of the few if not the only meditation guys which I am not a little to a lot wary of. So many people out there, selling things, positioning themselves as some kind of authorities or pushing some self help agenda or otherwise overreaching, persuading, adding woo or talking plain old bollocks. With Andy I feel like what is being offered is what is being offered, no more, no less. It is light but grounded and feels sincere, like he has taken himself out of the equation to make room for something else, and become more present for that. The initial headspace video got me through a hard time writing my thesis on the rebound from being burnt out by stress over many years. That carried me through the breaks, when the pain would flare up, put me to sleep and got me out of bed in the morning. The endless hours of work, I left to Clapton and JJ Cale. But yeah. I come back to it now and again still. Chaotic situation at work has been ripping at one remaining, but central old wound from the burnout days and the circumstances surrounding it over the last couple of weeks. This put me little more back in touch with my self and went a ways to untightening the knot in the belly to get to what lay behind that tension. Anyway - this is useful in the good focused minimalist way …

I found headspace on Netflix and wondered what he looked like while meditating kind of spooked I was spot on..
