Guided Reading Lesson 2nd grade 

Thank you for sharing. I saw a lot of good techniques like starting with a lead-in, reading for gist, reading for detail...it's just amazing. I wonder only about the questions asked in the end. What is the intention behind such specific questions? "Where did it go?" "What did it do?" I've heard we want to avoid questions which are more about checking memory rather than understanding.
