Eve yells at Rick that he has no right (to stop her); it's her life and her body. But Rick is her doctor; how is he supposed to help her beat the illness when she's self-medicating herself? Rick knows what Eve is doing and says it's crazy. He now understands why the WBC improved while none of the other blood work did. He saw all her notes on her computer. She's taking highly toxic doses of an untested, unknown substance. Eve tells him he had no right to look at her notes. She turns away and loses her balance. Rick catches her. Rick tells her there are other ways to beat this. Eve refuses to go through with the bone marrow transplant. Rick will not allow Eve to continue to treat herself. He tells her she has no idea what this drug is doing to her. She replies that neither does he. Rick believes there is a remote possibility it could help, but it could also kill her. Rick isn't going to let her proceed. Eve says he doesn't have a choice; she's already begun.
