Malchor must have been the happiest man alive with him having banged a literal godess lol.

Either that or a successor to take the mantle

In fact we can take the magic of a God, it's like a reserve, but after a certain time this reserve this recharge. This is done either over time or with a magical artifact. It's for this reason that Balthazar used a stone of blood, it contained some of the magic of the world once sealed by the gods. Or that Dhuum drifted the rivers of souls in the Underworld. This is why in my opinion Kormir doesn't control the same domain as Abaddon, he was the God of water and secrets while Kormir became goddess of Truth and Knowledge (the aquatic domain being recovered from temporarily to Lyssa). And so that also means that the gods still have all of Balthazar's magic somewhere, since they've taken him. The gods, even if some deaths, are in fact more numerous. (all this is my theory)

Some of the clips are taken from the cinematic character creation introductions, some from 5 man dungeon cut-scenes. Much of it is just in game capture - lots of walking about in first person, at locations which are relevant to the narrative. Anets art, graphics and digital effect teams are just masters of visual story telling, and I am grateful to be allowed to use their hard work in my fan fiction - tributes.

The core game for GW2 is already free to play, but if you want to play the expansions you will need to purchase them. There are infrequent sales, were anet offers the game at a discount , so keep an eye on their twitter/ official forums for that. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
