That was such a nice breath of fresh air! I love playing with my Warrior, and some builds there really took me back to the ol' days! Very nice suggestions in here. Ever since I "discovered" hammer builds I've been using them non-stop, definitely have to try your build. I also like to run a W/P "Shout Tank", making use of Strenght and Tactics skills, and the new anniversary spear for some damage :D

Howdy Peter, Just wanted to post a few more builds that you did not put, they aren't as well known, but very incredibly powerful! SWS = Seven Weapon Stance (New Elite) Conjure SWS: Conjure Frost: OQYTs4ITHi8ZqBP6tUs+qIG8ZAA (Icy) Conjure Fire: OQYTo4ITHi8ZqBP6tUs+qIG0WAA (Fiery) Conjure Lightning: OQYTg4ITHi8ZqBP6tUs+qIGsbAA (Shocking) Attributes: 12 Strength (+1+3) 16 total 3 Swordsmanship (+1) 4 total (will be 20 with SWS having Strength at 16) 12 Water Magic/Air Magic/Fire Magic Runes/Insigs: Sentinals x 5 Superior (+3) Strength on a +1 Helmet of Strength Vitae on Chest Superior Vigor (or as high as you can afford)(i like to put vigor on gloves, especially chaos since you use them for multiple sets) Minor (+1) Swordsmanship on Legs Clarity (20% reduction on blind and weakness on Boots (You can put runes, other than Helm Rune, on any of the armor pieces, non are effected by location) Weapon Set: Sword with Elemental Attachment connected to the conjure type you use (Icy, Fiery, Shocking) "Strength of Honor" (+15% damage while health is above 50% (15^50)) Fortitude (+30 Health) Strength Shield (any requirement works because strength is maxed out) Devotion or Endurance Handle (+45 health while enchanted) or (+45 health while in stance) "Run for your life!" (-2 damage while in stance) Tips: Make sure to keep an eye on your conjure, it lasts a full minute (you can change fortitude for 20% enchanting, but 60 seconds is a long time). SWS can be maintained at 16 Strength lasting 21 seconds and recharging in 20 seconds so make sure to keep that up in combat or your damage gets reduced immensely. When you have "For Great Justice!" up, you can pretty much spam Standing Slash, Sun and Moon Slash, and Silverwing Slash on rotation. Only use Asuran Scan when you get blinded or they are blocking to save energy as warriors have a rough go at it. Raptor Solo (Paragon Hero Not Needed): Hundred Blades: OQQTcUqWXimUlJvwSovYUbHctEA Attributes: 10 Swordsmanship (+1+3) Total 14 11 Tactics (+1) Total 12 10 Curses Runes/Insigs: Knights x 5 Superior Swordsmanship (+3) on a +1 Swordsmanship helmet Superior Absorption on Chest Superior Vigor (or as high as you can afford)(i like to put vigor on gloves, especially chaos since you use them for multiple sets) Minor Tactics (+1) on Legs Attunement on Boots (You can put runes, other than Helm Rune, on any of the armor pieces, non are effected by location) Weapon Set: Sword can use any prefix except Zealous or Vampiric, I use sundering (Armor penetration +20% (Chance 20%)) "I have the power!" (+5 energy) Enchanting (20% enchant duration) (Very helpful for Mindbender duration but I don't think its 100% needed) Tactics Shield (Requirement 12 or lower) Endurance Handle (+45 Health while in stance) "Run for your life!" (-2 damage while in stance) Tips: Grab bounty, run to mouth of cave, cast Mark of Pain on first raptor at max spell range, then IMMEDIATELY cast mindbender to not get interrupted. Run Left to gather as much as possible, make sure to get the boss before mindbender runs out Run to a wall, cast "I am Unstoppable!", Protector's Defense, Wary Stance, change target (DO NOT TARGET THE BOSS), Cast Mark of Pain when off recharge, Hundred Blades, Soldier's Defense, and the moment you have enough adrenaline for Whirlwind, hit it. Sometimes, you take too much damage, sometimes you just take the bleed, and sometimes you can kill them all before losing much health at all. A lot of it is up to RNG Keep calm if whirlwind gets interrupted, Soldier's Defense will bring it back up quickly

Thats a nice idea. Do Ranger at next :). There are a alot of players who come back after years and dont know how to play. I would love to see how a ranger is played today. Also very important is to know how to skill your heros and what builds are important and how to equip your heros. Maybe you can do a video how to come back to gw1 ;)

Hey Peter, thanks for another great guide. Warrior is my main since I started playing GW. But tell me one thing: What has been done to Khanhei? Why isn't it useable anymore for Smite Crawler farming?

Hi and thx. If I recall correctly back in 2012 reversal of fortune got an update and since then it triggers on life steal too. Now since the smite crawlers possess that skill vwk is not really a viable option anymore, the mobs heals themselves back.

I recently started vanquishing with my warrior and was pleasantly surprised by their DPS. I suppose specing into Strength (for "Warrior's Endurance") with 33% crit chance on an axe with "Fear Me!" pays off :) Looking forward to your other Professions guides. I love/hate the dagger spam build... I made that build, people mocked the f out of me for it (ecksdee a Warrior with [no warrior weapon] daggers). I used to spam jade quarry (I love it idk). The idea behind it was that I hate monks in there: they absolute dominate that place (I mean, they got everything: ray for killing the groups, protect points, heal turtles and make them move faster with secondary paragon) and so I needed to give them hell and axe doesn't help as much with groups either (didn't have Nightfall back then, so no scythes), so I immediately loved death blossom and wanted a way to spam it. I hate it instead because of your same reasons. Also, there's nothing quite better for a hammer build to work. Some enemies can't be knocked which is the whole point to spam Renewing, block you, blind etc, so it just makes it even more satysfying when it works.

Warrior feels like it never left prophecies. There's just something about it that screams 2005. Dervish and assassin are just better at basically everything warriors do, and that's really sad :/ They are pretty good as a secondary profession for save yourselves and a few of the shouts, and they used to be pretty good for pvp back when pvp was still alive, but I think that's about it xD

Nah fam. You’re missing out on that Warrior scythe build. Hit 3 at once generates so much adrenaline. Save yourselves (or watch yourself on heroes) with for great justice and fear me. Along with that elite skill that blocks 75% of the time if you’re under a shout… 😋 I think it’s for great justice… it’s been months since I logged in.

not too shabby, but I'd take in whirwind attack instread of #2 and some better dmg skill istead of #7, for example:OQASEZKTqi7gbFXF9FTNFFxg This way you can interrupt key skills too, imo sever artery is kind of bad in pve, where foes die in 4-5seconds

Tbh im not sure if you are serious or just a troll. Seven weapon stance, drunken master, burst of aggression. These are 3 ias(increased attacking speed)skills which you can find in the builds I posted. All these increase the attacking speed, if you mean ims(increased movement speed), the reason I don't have any in the builds is the hero team(almost cosntant 33% with fallback).

@ dude ur first endurance bar has no ias same for your hb bar same for your earth shaker bar,d runken master requires you to be drunk to be an ias, otherwise its a 15% buff you wont even notice, troll

@ btw also your runes are wrong, u go for+20 elemental dmg on warrior and also you put the stonefist on ur gloves not the chest since the chest has the biggest hitrate, so you want increased armor on that
