Guilin is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with 109°36′ to 111°29′ east longitude, 24°15′ to 26°23′ north latitude, and an average elevation of 150 meters. Guilin is a world-famous scenic city with unique karst landforms.
It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and one of China's top ten scenic spots. Guilin's landscape is well-known as a representative of China's landscape and has enjoyed the reputation of "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world" for thousands of years.
