While his design looks quite normal (at least to GG standard), his movelist seems fantastic

@@hafirenggayuda I'll say he still got some drip. His collar is lined with belt buckles and he has 2 massive belt buckles on his cape. Then I like the more traditional japanese priest look but with crosses on his chest, one cross instead of a tie along with the christian priest shirt and collar underneath. And I love the long black gloves under the very loose but short japanese sleeves, and the big staff with the book in the middle is a great way to keep that central to his character. I think he looks sick, but what really sells the visual design is the visuals on his moves. I'm always a big fan of magic that's just hurling geometry at your enemy.

They did announce the roadmap before Bridget was announced for season 2, they could do the same here hopefully

i mean we aren't getting anymore GG games cause the story is done, so its just season pass for days cause its easier to make passes then doing a new story without Sol and everyone else

@@monokomomo4977 My theory is that Sin will be the next protagonits, he has it all, the foolish and pure sense of justice, is the son of Ky and Dizzy, Grandson of Sol, is like one of the most powerfull characters (like in pure power)

@@monokomomo4977 Daisuke has publicly stated that he has, at the very least, one more big event in Sol and Jack-O's story. Plus, I don't think Arcsys would drop their biggest IP, that's just completely unreasonable. We absolutely will see more GG games, that's without question. What is probably going to happen is Sol's story will finish in the next game or two and then a new protagonist will take the stage. Saying that "we aren't getting anymore GG games" is ridiculous. The current arc is finishing, that's all.

Maybe in the inevitable re-release "Strive Plus Yes-you-must-buy-it-again-no-upgrading-you-losers".

@@KuroNoTenno you're not wrong that there's a lot less now, but granblue rising is right around there lol. rising does look at least pretty significant in terms of changes/new content though

@@halgay Just looked up Rising, had no clue this was coming out. It looks like an improved version of the same game. Same cast (+ a few more), same stages, same attacks, I even noticed some of the same ultimate attacks as the "first game". So I guess they are still doing it. Sure, they added a whole bunch of new stuff, but that's what an update is. They added a lot of new mechanics in Accent Core as well, but it was still an updated release, not a "new game" per say. Which is what I'm expecting with "Strive 2" or whatever they will call it. I really hope I'm wrong, as Strive is the only game I've ever experienced buyers remorse with. So I want an upgrade, even a payed one, to make the copy I bought acually worth something. Instead of them selling the "good edition" to me at full price.

From little I see his kit, his type of zoning is different than Axl, Axl relies more on his normal combined with specials, Asuka looks like relies more on special to control the space around it. Edit: I noticed Asuka also have very active projectile with multiple hits, threatening lockdown even more. Asuka’s okizeme game is going to be hell, especially with side switching teleport.
