I know a lot of parts of fgc have no stance on anything going on around the world but having us army as a sponsor is something else, as much as you try to just survive and have any money in this, it really sucks
I dom has such an interesting testament. You see the oki and metermanagement learned from sf. Not to mention the neutral(as much as strive can have lol) love seeing multiple players from multiple games pulling up elsewhere.
Technically your paying for them with your taxes, the way I see it is at least getting some of the money back into the community. It sucks but what're you gonna do?
Chris G- a marvel player in top 3, Idom - a Streetfighter player both in top 3 in a strive tourney. Idk what it is about strive, but maybe Snake eyes was right about any fgc pro being able to clean up a tournament in Strive.
To be fair Idom and ChrisG have been playing Strive since release and still enter plenty of tournaments for them and Snake Eyez was grinding a lot of Potemkin before he took Texas Showdown. Some players just learn and adapt faster than others as well.
dude, evo japan and texas showdown were this weekend. go figure strive's best players aren't gonna go to a tournament that's mostly known for smash LOL
Have you checked the bracket? Except Rat, no other famous GGST players in the tournament. But you know what, you are probably right. Go tell those fighting game newbies that this is easiest fighting game even without something call modern, and everyone should play it. Or what? You are just here to say it’s an easy game but you can’t even win a tournament of it by yourself?
It has little to do with Strive. Both Chris G and Idom have played many different fighting games and have been successful in all of them. These are guys are some of the best in the world and their fundamentals can take them far particularly in a tourney that doesn't feature any other sponsored pro players. Neither of these guys place particular well in Major strive tournaments. It's funny if Snakeyes said that considering the only Strive tournament he ever attended also did not include any of the best Strive players
