On the subject of battle waifus, I picked this up and I've been having problems on Jack-O with my minions actually breaking my combos -_-. Any tips would be appreciated.

Jack-O has some combos with minions which are annoying to perform and besides this, these combos are a little bit unstable, but it's a matter of timing and practice. There is no way if you want to master Jack-O combos, spend time in the lab testing attacks with different advantage frames on hit, it's a helper to master the timing of these combos, try with simple combo routes.Keep in mind that Jack-O strongest feature is her great variety of setups, especially okizemes.

I’m so sorry for my late response, I wasn’t notified about your post here. You did well to start with Sol and Ky because as you said, they’re simple and with them, you will master all GG mechanics.There are a lot of important concepts in this type of game that you must master before combos, like ground and air movement, defensive skills, and okizemes. In my training plan, I always start with these concepts letting combos for the last step.

Apolo Loussalier well, I am new to FGs in general (except some KoF matches in the late nineties on arcade machines, but I don't remember anything) so I don't really know where to start training. I did all the missions, and sometimes I do some of them again. I generally practice in rooms I make and label "for noobs", because the AI is too stupid and can be easily cheesed.

Each game has your fundamentals and some of them are more focused on the neutral game like Street Fighter franchise, or like ASW franchise that is focused on movement and complex setups.The learning curve of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue is huge, don’t push yourself harder, have fun while you’re learning and develop the habit of watching your replays, it’s very important to see where your mistakes are. Some tips: * Search a safe way to use jump cancel during your pressure. * Know the range and properties of your character’s attacks. * Build a game plan based on the strengths of your character. I’ve been thinking to create a video showing how I usually training, maybe it’s useful I don’t know ☺

Yeah, actually the GG's Learning Curve is hard to mastering but this game is so fun to play, have a ton of awesome characters and all of this makes the mastering process a little bit soft and more enjoyable :)

Sorry for the late response. Are you talking about her air dashes loops? If yes, you need to buffer 9 a little bit before Ram lands, after this you'll just need to press 6, it's a matter of timing.

Hello mich tir, I confess to you this kind of migration (3d FG to 2d) is a little bit hard, especially about air dashes fighting games but everything is a matter of dedication :) I recommend that you focus your training on topics like these: * Movement. If you master the basics of moving, you will be more comfortable to practice this in a defensive and offensive way with your character. * Confirms. If you don't master the basics of moving, you won't be able to fish your opponent mistakes, that is the reason why I usually put this topic in a 2nd position. * Setups/Mixups. The air dash fighting games are well known by a lot of insane pressure, mixups, setups, and okizemes but to create all of this you must master the other 2 topics. * Combos. As I said, this game is focused on mixups/setups and okizemes, so...I think combos are the last thing to master in this game (my opinion).

I would also recommend the Guilty Gear Crash Course, a playlist of tutorials made by another guy that helped me quite a lot. For beginners or do you mean a character on the same level of complexity as Ram?
