@@TheRamamedia yes brother, Kwame NKruma was received in Guinea as a king and elected as Co-President of Guinea and held that title till his death to save his honor and dignity when the west tried to humiliate him. But the sad part is we never heard anything positive from Ghana 🇬🇭 authorities about Sekou Toure. We still consider Ghana as our twin brother. I'm Nigerian. I must admit I never thought twice about Guinea Conakry. The place is beautiful and looks exactly like downtown Dakar. African countries (and Africans) really have to do more to dispel the idea that others (and sometimes we) have about what contemporary Africa is or looks like!! Shout out to my folks from Guinea Conakry.
Because of the media we consume, we tend to perceive other African countries as poor. I’m a Guinean, I think poverty when I hear Nigeria but watching African RU-vidrs have changed my perception

Guineans, you have done a great job in keeping your city clean. Yes there are some buildings that could do with a paint job but from what I see here you really take care of your home. great job guys, I can't remember the last time I saw a town look this clean in my home country.

When Guinea choose complete independence from France, France pour concrete in their water system and destroy schools, books, offices, buildings etc. France didn't leave quietly.

I want to visit West Africa some day. I remember meeting people on a flight to Chicago and they were flying to Guinea and Guinea Bissau and Burkina Faso etc.. from Ohare. They sat in front of me and they were so happy I knew their countries. Great people with a great future.

My friend Guinea is one of my country, because my father came from there and my mother from Liberia. I spent most of my childhood in Guinea, especially Conakry. Conakry is one of the dirtiest and pungent city you ever come across. Under Alpha Conde leadership garbage piled up no-one to collected them. You can't compare Conakry with Dakar.

Guinea recruits children and young adults living on the streets (young adults frequeting the streets more often) and trains them up in acrobatics and contortionism, while providing training and literacy. programs. We've heard it so many times that Africans can not manage their affairs & their countries are underdeveloped. They live in trees etc. Conakry looks much better than the so many run down places in America. I didn't see homelessness in this city, so clean, well painted buildings, an organised road network, no over population, bike taxis are almost none existant, green everywhere. What I see is breathtaking. Thank you for the video.

Wow, not the Conakry I know. Been there many, many times and love the city/country but WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE, THE TAXI, THE CARS, THE MOTOS, THE PERSONS DIRECTING TRAFFIC AT CRAZY ROUND-ABOUTS, THE VENDORS..... always a city teaming with LIFE everywhere. This must be a city on lockdown.
[ Bit by Bit [ Africa Blooms After The Dark Nights and Days ] - My grandfather (long since dead - was from Africa - I think Ghana - but sure and no one to ask - My Grandmother (also African was from a different African country =t again (no one to ask) now way to find oud out I am been living in Asia for nearly 4 years now - happy / peaceful / hospitable - reserved - but helpful - I often wonder / what would it be like to visit Africa - which country ? unfortunately now it too late - but it's a very nice thought Much thanks for a wonderful video

Take the African Ancestry DNA, it would help you learn about your African country of origin and also the specific tribes, which is extremely empowering to know.
