I'd love to see a loft for Winston. I seriously can't with Winston, him grooming his girlfriend is adorable. And Kyle reminds me if my girl Ellie. Ellie loves to burrow under the hay and liners. I have to put extra liners in certain areas because she goes under. She lays under beds alot to instead of in the beds.
I had four boys who all got along...and now Mr. Stevie Wonder (neutered) who is with three ladies and so so happy now! ❤ He terrified my older males so he had to live alone for a while.
I just want to say you are the best guinea pig dad ever you take the best care of your fur babies you know more about guinea pigs than anybody else I know and I just want to say with your haircut you look so nice and handsome God bless you and the piggies always
when i got my first guinea pig (named Guinness) i let him settle in for about 3 months, he was a single pig so in those three months i did as much research as possible on guinea pig care and guinea pig needs. after he was fully settled in i ended up purchasing a male from a semi local pet supply store, i had gone in specifically to get guinea supplies as i had no idea they sold animals. the kept guinea pigs in 10-gallon fish tanks that were busted, had barely any hay, no hides, tunnels, or water bottles. i felt horrible and immediately purchased a white male guinea pig they had for sale who couldn't have been more than a month old. his name is Gatsby, they bonded beautifully the same day i brought him home and now my 6-year-old senior piggy and his one-year-old companion are still going strong.
Oh all the packages are so cute! I’m glad Winston is doing well in his new herd! And Ollie! There all so cute! I love the plushy of Caroline and when you said “Look Caroline it’s you it’s like lookin in a mirror!” Cracked me up! Also when I saw those Kaytee hides the first thing I said was “potato starch” I’m so sad you can’t use them! I hope your doing well!
J'adore le fait que vous êtes de nouveau actif sur youtube, j'aime tellement vos vidéos. Toby était le cochon d'Inde que je préférais, j'espère qu'il va bien dans sa nouvelle famille 😊👍
Lol I was about to comment the book was from Scotti’s Animals. I love Ollie! You showed a gentle way of clipping Piggy nails when you were cleaning up Ollie for the first time. Thank you! It helped my piggies a lot.
I love that Ollie and Billie are getting along! They do look adorable together! I would love for you to do another cage reaction video. I'd love to hear what you have to say about my cage😊 thank you for everything you do!
I feel you on the boy bonding lol. I had 4 boys at one point in time. Only one very successful boy pair (Charlie & Finn), even with my 3 girls in the same room. When Noah & Finn were baby-babies, they were bonded with Charlie, but Noah decided around 6 months old that he was not down to live with Charlie & Finn anymore. After Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Noah & Finn were neutered, & I agree with you on the best pairing is a group of females with a neutered boy! Noah & Finn both got along fabulously with all my girls ❤
Aww bless Winston he such a cutie❤ & a Rascal 😅 🎉watch carolina & girls Number of times i had a Male piggie escape go on an adventure 🫣 . Do miss not having them any more ,they were such a Delight to have. Best entertainment than Tv 🤣😜. Have a Good weekend 🥰
lol my friend I never said hamsters should have it though, i said that they were meant for hamsters as in marketed to them. Please don't misconstrue my message just because of past comments. Everyone learns new things and I didnt know hamsters couldn't digest potato starch either, now I do, thanks for teaching me something new. @@cloudyskyz2237
I have a Furr-o. The other pad is a replacement for the stretchy thing if you want it more as a bed. The stretchy thing is soposed to be like burrowing for the piggies. So its soft and comfy. My pigs don't like it that much, but i bet one of yours will! EDIT: I also have the hammocks that you sent, I have that and another one. (not the double, just the single) ANYHOO BYEEE ❤
I tried adding a four month old to my bonded boys and it didn't work out I had to give the baby back I tried for a week and they would of killed him I was so scared plus I'm a new piggy mammy so I'm still learning I'm from Wales in the UK and I love you're videos ❤
Honestly I wouldn't use a fish tank, but I do have 40 gallon breeder sized terrarium that I totally would set a Guinea hog up in. Yes I would do my best to make it bioactive for it, so it would think it was a wild hog, lol. So to give you an idea it's 20inch x 38x 20. I think is the smallest I would go for one Guinea hog. Sorry I come from they are called that and not pigs. Again it wouldn't be board cuz it would have plenty of enrichment, I also would take it for yard time.
I love all your videos and you have inspired me to look into fostering in my local area but am wondering what do you have in your medical kit for guinea pigs and how do you do a check up on them? I have two of my own and I believe I am doing a good job, but I would like to see how you do then since seeing you do rescues.
Apparently potato strash isnt safe for hamsters either. That's too bad because I have a syrian hamster (someone sold him off craigslist. He lived jn a plastic bin with a tiny wheel). I don't think it is safe for rats and mice either, which I have as pets as well. Glad your two boys are bonded.
When i was young, we had a lot of pigs outside in our garden. That was 25 years ago and i still am so ashamed, in how bad conditions they had to life, at one point in my life i even had nightmares of pigs starving, or freezing 😢 i didnt have internet yet in my home, and didnt know anything about pigs. My parents didnt really care and thought they knew how to keep them,... so sad 😢😢😢
Can I give you a product idea that would be right up your alley? So problem: handling the piggers. They are little tic tac dispensers and can shed quite a bit at times. Solution: an adult sized "bib" or apron, with a pocket that is open at the top to catch the poops. That way when you are done handling the piggers, the poops are in the pocket and can just be dumped in the trash then wash as needed. Bonus solution, water proof on one side in case of peeing. I really think this may encourage piggers owners to handle more frequently and give them attention. While I love mine and do it anyway, I can see someone that isn't as passionate or in love with their babies, being put off by this and maybe making use of this. I would totally get a couple.
@@claudiakarl7888 I wouldn’t say that, although it’s true that’s a bit harsh and she’s just a kid…. lots of people don’t know !! I didn’t, so I’m getting my Guinea pig a friend asap which is this afternoon, a lot of people aren’t trying to be cruel y’know :(
do you offer international shipping? I have some items in my cart on your website but I just went to pay and it says shipping isn't available to my address =( (Australia)
Its one of my dreams to own a pet Store that sells suitable treats and toys especially for piggies so probably online to start with. How did you get yor products made? Or would you be able to bulk order yours? They look amazing quality 😍 This plan of mines in the planning stages rught now so id be interested in any advice you can give. Im in the uk so some bits may differ.
Currently trying to bond a 3 year old female with my 4,5 year old neutered male since he just lost his cage mate (she was put down on monday due to health problems) and he's annoying the new girl sooo much when we try to bond them. He keeps being all over her and she keeps trying to tell him to keep his distance which he doesn't get before she kicks or lift her head at him.. I think they'll go together but lord it's stressful when she's on edge because she's new and he's always trying to be up in her face...
So I am looking to adopt 2 guinea pigs but there are no rescues or breeders within a reasonable distance, should I get Guinea pigs from a pet shop then, what should I do
I have those plastic treat balls; my Syrian hamsters love them. They are too big for my dwarf hamsters to move, but they work well for larger small animals for forage, treats or seed mix depending on species. Potatoes are controversial ingredient for hamsters, agreement that raw potatoes are dangerous for hamster, but cooked potatoes should only be given sparingly or not at all. I personally would not use that log for my hamsters because they do not need hay either. I would rather use a real, non-pine, wooden log that they were less likely to try to ingest when chewing.
The tunnel thing is not safe for hamsters or any other rodent either :( Potato starch is not safe and those types of items often have wood shavings and honey in them, both are dangerous when digested.
Hii! I want to get a guinea pig but i dont know if hes the right pet for me, i already have a cat, and place i could keep them, i can spend a lot of time with them but i dont know if they are the kind of pets you can cuddle and play... Please answer this because i dont know what to do! Does it cost a lot to own like one/two, how much do they live?
@@Yakimma they get very lonely on their own. I recommend getting a hamster as they are solitary, if you can keep it away from your cat. Although you will need to do research of course. Most pet store hamster cages are too small so have a look on here for some proper hamster set ups.
@@Yakimmaunfortunately Guinea pigs don’t sound like a great fit for you. They need companions. Not only is there safety in numbers for them but it is better for their overall happiness, confidence, and health. I find that they are just as expensive as my dogs but I do enjoy spoiling them rotten. A healthy piggy can live for up to 8 years. I hope this helps and I hope you’re able to find a pet that fits well into your lifestyle. ❤️
Just a safety note, I wouldn't plug a vaccum into an extension cord like that one. Too much voltage. You could use an outdoor extention cord (the thick ones) or plug directlt into the outlet.
About the edible log: please never give things like that to any animal! It’s basically just saw dust, which is extremely dangerous for any animal to ingest.
Unfortunately most of those edible tunnels and hides aren't really safe for hamsters either (some could be depending on the ingredients but generally it's better to be safe and not use this type of hide).... Perhaps it could be used for mice, but I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to mice diet and such, so I'm not 100% sure
backyard breeding is a huge issue. why bring more animals in this world when there are already thousands that need homes from rehoming?? also breeding can have such bad effects on a pigs health and can even lead to death during the birthing process. it’s best not to breed and just adopt :)
