I must say that Phoebe is a very determined piggie, and her attacks to get where she wants can’t help but put a smile on my face. I’m sure one day we will see a video of her successfully getting over or under that fleece blanket. The Boss Pig will not be denied.😂❤
I keep my two beautiful boys in a massive DIY pen in my garden. I am currently fighting a battle to get my piggies to stay in my bedroom during winter because my dad isn’t keen on that idea. I love watching your videos and hoping that I can one day keep them inside like you do xx ❤
My Piggies name is sweet pea she loves floor time I have a black lab and a pit mix she's not one bit scared of him she goes right up to him and tries to snuggle which I get a big kick out of it I watched him closely but I know he would not hurt her she loves giving her kisses I live in a one-bedroom apartment so she goes from the kitchen to living room and does her popcorning and running and hiding
Everyday I check on your channel if there's a new video- this puts a smile on my face everytime! My two piggy boys are squeaking madly for their dinner haha :)
Hello 👋. Another great and very funny video 😂. Would you believe I have a Phoebe who's also a very brave, outgoing adventurous lady, and it didn't take long for her to 'come out of her shell' 😂 Her sister Sheba is also not too far behind 😊 then there's Cleo who is the still shy, nervous very skittish girl. They have been with me for four months now and have grown so much 😍. I managed to get a photo of all three in ONE guinea-Dad liner box !🤣 I couldn't believe my eyes, hilarious! 🤣🤣. Mine have floor time each day during cleaning and if I take too long Phoebe and Sheba grab the cubes and give them a real good shake to get back in!! Little Cleo watches from the 'playground' and then follows her sisters 😊. They know it's T-time ! 😂🥬🍽. Love your girls, and their in-put during filming 🤣🤣🐹. Now to search for the cordless cleaner......! Brilliant! I'll keep my faithful Henry as back-up, but this will be a god-send! You're a Star in a jar, Sarah ! ⭐
Piggies are back!!! It feels like a long week 😂 Free roaming videos are always so entertaining for me 😅❤❤😅😅 and hope the little guys like the new toy! And thease days Im just waiting for any news about a little future piggy :) And is it just me, or do Roxy and Pheobe look so small when you had them in the snuggle sack???😂 Hope you have a good week, and remember, start getting ready for summer!🎉🎉 ~Beatrise (do I evan need to put this)
It was so encouraging to see Roxy and Phoebe cuddling together! I remember from a previous video you had said that they did not always get along, perhaps because they were the same age and constantly trying to determine their rank in the herd. I have 2 sisters guinea pig that I got when they were 3 weeks old. I was afraid that their bond would not be the friendliest bond and had accepted their dominance struggles (but never any fighting or blood). A year later, I can see that they are calming down and can tolerate being physically closer to each other! When did you notice Roxy and Phoebe becoming more warm to each other? I would be interested to see a video from you documenting how guinea pig bonds change over time!
We just got our 3rd piggy on Thursday! He is SO little I honestly can't guess a age. Our oldest is 5 months and our middle one is 2 months. I do have a handheld vacuum, got it last week and it's a life saver!!
Hi Sarah loved your video as normal before I started watching your videos I thought I know all about Guinea pigs but how wrong can I be Ii keep on learning so much from your videos so thank u. Sadly having 2 dogs as well as 2 Guinea pigs makes it hard for me to make a set up like yourself in my front room my piggy’s are upstairs away from my dogs they do get time in the garden but under cover same in the house can never be to care full
I recently found your channel and it’s been so helpful. I haven’t been the best owner and while my baby is happy & healthy, I want to do more! I need to get a better cage for her, I’m thinking of the C&C at least large one but I need to have some sort of topper because I have cats & a dog. Is there an option to find one with a lid or should I diy the grids to create one?
Love your videos and all the advice. I was wondering with introducing a new guinea pig into the herd would you wait less time to do first floor time? I’ve got two guinea pigs already and I’m planning on adding a third one as soon as my finances allow. I wouldn’t want to limit the floor time for the original two and definitely wouldn’t want to separate them, so in that circumstance could you introduce floor time earlier?
Hadn't thought of that! Yes I wouldn't separate them and if the newbie is a baby he/she will probably be reassured by following the adults around and learning off them. Just be a bit more careful when it comes to setting up the space, make sure baby can't squeeze anywhere and escape (including through the C&C grids if you are using them!).
I've just gotten two baby guinea pigs, their slowly starting to come out but when i got them we gotten one of the pet shop cages (absolutely hate it) I'm wanting to change it to a grid cage, do you or anyone have any tips, the onky idea i had was connect the grids to the cage and let them explore and then slowly remove the cage becayse i want tonguve these piggies the best life ❤
Hello!! New guinea pig owner here and i have a question about 1 of my babies. Ive had them maybe 2 weeks and one of them (Merle) is starting to nibble pretty hard. I try to put my hand in the cage to let him sniff me to get used to me or offer him food, very gently and i usually start away from him and he'll usually nibble a little and then go about his business but tonight he bit pretty hard and it stunned me... i hope that i havent offended my piggie baby but what would cause him to suddenly bite so hard?
So my pigys are loosing wate like I can feel my pigys ribs when I pet them so is there something I can do to help them and I just moved and they got a new cage to and it is big enough for them, they have live in one apartment for all of their lives and I just moved and I want to know if there is any thing I can do cuz this has never had this happened to my pigys so if you have any ideas for me please let me know.
If you think they are losing weight you should take them to a vet for a check up, and also start monitoring it (weigh them once a day around the same time and keep a note of the decline). Weight loss can be an aging thing but usually it is health related so always best to get a vet visit in.
