My old girl used to act the same way whenever she got her vitamin c supplement. It was in biscuit form, and she thrashed her head around whenever she got it. She also had to take this pain medication that she would also go crazy for, and she wouldn’t let the syringe go 🤣 Of course, she never acted to this extent, but she probably would have if she was younger lol
Tip: if its hard for you to inject the vitamin c you can 1. Use vitamin c pellets or 2. Put the vitamin c juice in the water then they drink water they will get vitamin c!
@@guineaholic_caviary It's not recommended to use vitamin C drops in water for two main reasons: 1. Vitamin C quickly degrades when it's exposed to light. Most water bottles are clear, so they let in light. 2. More importantly: guinea pigs are extremely picky, and if their water tastes "off" for any reason (such as if a supplement is added), there's a chance they won't even drink water at all. There are reports of guinea pig owners putting vitamin C drops in their water, only to later find their guinea pigs dead from dehydration.
Piggies do not possess rage. That is a human emotion. The only time a pig will bite will be if you are hurting it or if you are holding it way too long or they are very ill. Piggies are docule creatures, despite the human made frenzy here.
