I just came to check on you guys, and I see you've taken a break from You Tube. I'll be back to check if you're up for more videos or not. I know it's a lot of work!
@@robertgrimesabc THANK YOU TO YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIFE FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEOS ! They are so therapeutic for me. With turmoil in every part of the world, it seems animals are truly the joy makers. Watching these adorable fur and feather babies brings a calm to a stressful world. And they truly do give me a break , like a meditation, because my mind goes on a journey to Guinea Pig Paradise. All cardiologists should recommend your page. Thank you thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
I grew up with guinea pigs and chickens in the same area! They got along for 6 long years with not much of an issue! They even seemed to be friends, warning each other of danger.
sorry to hear you are a bit down . happy the videos are enjoyable We mostly eat meat and some vegetables no a lot of carbs or sugar , but sometimes All proceeds or package food seems to be loaded with nasty additive My wife’s parents, 97 and 96 just eat simple meat and vegetables cooked at home. live in their own home by they selves, so it works for them . I grow up on a farm , where we supplied our own , meat and vegetables it harder depending on where you live , I know as when travelling around. Caviar is a super food and you only need as small amount containing A , C , E , Zinc and more but most come from farmed fish where they use hormones to increase production so no go in real life I see what we eat as the best way to look after our health love from both of us,

Howdy, I hope all is well with you! I love your videos. I also believe I have seen your video footage used in other youtube content. The content appears to be AI voiced and/or created. I am not sure about your view on this, but I just wanted to let you know if you did not.

Hello hope u had a nice Thanksgiving pretty stairway and the babies got big and chicken and piggies so cool it's like my cat and piggies they get along and the kids eat oranges and seeds crazy❤❤
welcome and thank you for sharing your kindness I not a cat person or so I thought, but my wife brought her self a Russian blue kitten, but the next day had to travel away for a week and when she came home the kitten love me and only me lovely hearing from you thank you so much
Hey hey hi there Jules Thank you so much The year seems to have been very quick Merry Christmas Jules to you and your loved ones And have a great 2024 Love from Rob and Nevenka
Do your piggies ever fight each other? I had two guinea pigs who seemed to absolutely hate each other. They had plenty of room in their hutch, food, toys, water, things to chew on. but if they were together they'd growl at each other and try to bite each other. It made me sad because I thought they'd be good companions.
Yes at different times, but larger numbers changes the whole thing, they have much more to think about Sounds like you did everything, you could Great hearing from you
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing video! I'm just curious, will you be sharing another video of how do you keep up with the cleaning and grooming of the piggies? They are all so clean and the enclosure is simply a piggies wonderland! ❤
Those walk ways you have built are fabulous. It must be lots of fun planning it and seeing the piggies run around. How often do you need to change the straw? You must make pretty good compost! My chooks used to fly too.
Hold up, Guinea pigs and chickens having a showdown? Is this the ultimate barnyard face-off? 🐹🐔 Grab your front-row seats, folks - it's the battle of the fluff vs. feathers!
The videos you two have already made have already doubled your number of subscribers, if I'm remembering correctly!! You have a large base of people who like what you've done! I hope things work out for you to be able to make more videos! We miss you all! ❤
Good morning Dawn lovely hearing from you It funny how we swap and change I know we need to do more videos and will do The little ones are the breath of fresh air in our lives We know we are very fortunate And need to share This morning I and pressing my olives , as I make my own olive oil , that is if I have time , but the little ones make me lose track of time Wishing you all the best and love from both of us Dawn
It's cold and grey and dark here in Blighty - and it is so lovely to see sunshine, lots of fruit and veg, and happy guinea pigs and chickens! Lovely start to a Sunday - thank you!
yes we are truly blessed with great weather all year round we just run in and out side in the same clothes, and leaving the back door wide open But I have lived and worked in places where the weather is unfriendly lovely hearing from you thank you so much for sharing
Just found your channel and I am binge watching. I love it and it makes me smile. I adore the squeaking of the piggies, reminds me of my young years when I had a couple of piggies call Dougal and Tog. Such nice innocent days. Subscribed. Best wishes from a very wet UK.
Welcome Matthew Thank you so much for sharing Sounds like you had a rewarding connection with Your little ones Douglas and Tog I feel we learn a lot from looking after others My grandchildren love my little ones Thank you so much for connecting Yes the weather is so different between Australia and the U K Have a safe exciting 2024
We love how much that you care about your Guinea pigs. You look after them so well. We got 2 beautiful little girls years ago so they wouldn't have babies. But they were already pregnant and we didn't know. They each had a boy and girl. So we found homes for the boys. But one of the girls was very small and the mum attacked her and dug her teeth into her back. It was a really deep cut and we thought she wouldn't survive. I put honey on it and we took her to the vet the next day. She survived and is getting old now. We called her miracle. ❤️
I love how this Robert gives life advice :0) no joking, it is always good advice and what a lovely couple they are too! I started viewing for the Guinea pigs and the lovely housing he builds for them but now, to be honest, I come to see how Robert and his wife is, and listen to Robert’s lovely positivity !! : 9) love from the UK x x
Greetings Rob and family. I enjoy watching your stress relieving videos. I have raised guinea pigs on and off through my life and I love them. Great to see the chickens in with the pigs and that they get along. I enjoy talking to the amateur radio operators (hams) in Australia too. God bless you and your wife. Mike from Indiana near Lake Michigan.
G’day Mike and welcome Indiana Merry Christmas Mike Sounds like an excellent way to connect and find out what is what , radio operator Have a great 2024 , Mike From Rob and Nevenka
This looks fun. Are you and your wife retired and spend most of your time with the farm/chickens and guinea pigs? Was it hard to build the guinea pig ramps etc?
I love your guys' videos; they really make me smile. Me and my partner watch them together and fantasize about having a backyard like yours! Much love from USA.
You two are truly inspiring! I love animals and stumbled upon your account and came to realize that guinea pigs are amazing pets. I love how far you go to offer them all happy lives. I hope to do something similar someday. Caring after one another no matter the species will always make for a content life.
I’ve been away for awhile. Just starting to catch up again. Love all the fun things you have built for them. Noticed I didn’t have my notifications set to all videos so hopefully I won’t miss again.
Its been so long! But I'm glad you're still doing all of this! PS: do you have patreon or anything? We would support you gladly! Love Spencer and Franceen!
G’day Spencer and Franceen Great hearing from you Yes we will be doing some more sharing of the little ones All is great for us all Yes 2024 here already may you have a safe year Nevenka spend most of her time with her parents who live in their own home and 98 and 96 , going very well lovely people Thank you so much for your offer, we are in a good position. This was such a lovely time. I had such a grand time partaking. Thank you for doing your thing. All the little places for them to climb are so fun and cute. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

G’day and hi there Sarah No not on vacation, the wife Nevenka Go to her parents house every day, they are both late nineties as everyone one else is away They live in their own home by them selves Planning some new videos soon Love from both of us
A bit late to the party. Hope you and your family are doing well. We've been starting our day by watching your videos while watching your videos. It sets such a wonderful, peaceful tone for the rest of the day. Thank you for sharing with us. Love and respect from Charleston, SC USA.
Do you grow all there food? They are the cutest little Pigg’s. I had one when I was so young & I loved how sweet they were. People need to be educated on how they are great animal have & love. Thank you for sharing your babies with us.
Well I grow most of their food as growing vegetables is very rewarding and the little ones and gardening work well together Always looking for more compost and the little ones help out there , they are the life of my yard and the love of my grandchildren
I wrote to you before about my son's cat pawing at my guinea pig Ella, who was cuddled to my leg. I told the cat to stop, but she poked Ella again. Ella gave the cat a good hard poke in the bum with her nose, and that was the end of that! Do you ever play music to your guinea pigs? One evening, Ella and Stella were making grumpy sounds when they were on the couch with me. I played Pachelbel's Canon in D on my phone, and they were asleep in seconds! They also enjoy Vivaldi's The Four Seasons and just about anything by Bach.
Hello! I hope all is well for you and your family! I miss seeing you both and the piggies enjoying their best life. Do you have plans to return to RU-vid, as I always looked forward to seeing the food art you so lovingly create for your little friends. Again, I hope all is well with you and yours and hope to see this channel up and running again soon. 🌻
Hey hey thank you so much Yes 2024 came very quickly, it seems Wishing you a safe year Mabel is my granddaughter’s pride and joy Just came inside, 7.30 now I an early morning person so up before 5 am Lucky it light by then I enjoy listening to people, but enjoy my little ones so much , thank you so much for sharing your kindness and support though out the year
Hi, yes - your chickens thrive very well together with your nice guinea pigs with a large variety of food! While you have summer there in Australia, here in Germany, it is now almost winter, partly snow. Have a wonderful time!
hello Germany, I was in Germany earlier this year only for half a day was on our way to Rome Dealing with the snow, is hard enough I imagine my wife Nevenka grow up with snow and tells me some of the hardships. lovely hearing from you thank you so much
Hello from France, i got some guinea pigs inside my house, they are kind free and i sleep near them.. they make no noise at night and kind ask for food at 9 ish. I will soon build a small habitat for them outside and let them free on our piece of land (10 000m2) they will work as a grass cutter... :D
They're spoilt little guinea pigs. Just like my 6 guinea pigs! I wish I had all those ramps and set ups for mine. I live in Bunbury, so also from Western Australia.
Hey hey hi there haven’t been to Bunbury for a long time use to go to the Bunbury airport regularly as I am a private pilot Great to hear from you you thank you
Hello from Seattle, Washington! I have just discovered your channel and I am so thrilled! All of these beautiful babies look like my favorite piggie, Penelope. She lived a good long life with me and I still miss her, even though she has been gone a long while. I would so much like to get guinea pigs again, but I am not in a living situation where I could do up their environment like you have, even on a smaller scale. I don't have the heart to indulge my want for a guinea pig at the cost of keeping her in a cage. I am very happy sharing your piggies with you until I can get a couple of girls for myself. Thank you for being such loving caring custodians of these beautiful little creatures. They are always happy and friendly. Their chirping/whistling always made me feel good. They are sweet and have great personalities. Please continue to post your videos if you are able, as so many of us look forward to seeing you and your wife interact and care for all the hungry little piggies and the chooks, and the garden. I hope you and your family are healthy and doing well. Regards, Kendra from Seattle
It's been awhile that I've seen your videos. Looks like you've built their structures almost as tall as you! I'm mighty impressed! Anyway, glad to see this on here. I hope all is well with you and the wife. Happy New Year from Ohio, USA....

@@robertgrimesabc Good to know you all are well and that more videos are on the horizon. You’ve got us a bit spoiled with seeing the magical space you’ve created for the little ones and watching their interactions 🩵🫶🏼🩵.
So relieved to hear from the both of you . I was afraid that something was wrong . Hoping that life is still good for the both of you. My sister and I are both housebound and we have been binge-watching your videos. We are very much looking forward to future videos you will put up of your precious little pets. We have become so endeared with the sweet little babies. We love when you call them by name and tell us about their mothers. We would love to take a look under one of their little hutches that they stay in at night. We were amazed to see your generosity in feeding the little piggies. We love the beautiful setup that you have in their living space. We will be anticipating your return when you are able to. We know that doing filming for RU-vid can be very time consuming and know that you need a break sometimes. We are in South Carolina, USA. Thank you for the insight you have allowed us to see of these beautiful little animals and for taking the time to share. God bless!!
Hello to just 2 @@justusU South Carolina Thank you so much for the blessing Yes we are excellent and so are our little ones Nevenka’s parents who are in their late nineties and live in their own home In good health for their age no walking aids But don’t leave their house anymore So Nevenka go to see them every morning I love that you took the time to write Be back on track soon Love to both of you from both of us God bless you both as well
👋 hello, we hope that you doing well. We watch your newest videos while cleaning our guinea pigs cage. We have been missing your video. Wishing you well from California.
Love your Guinea pigs and your videos. Just wondering if you can point me in the direction of good information for forming a free range herd. All the information is so conflicting. I have read that you can't keep more than 2 males together but you appear to keep lots of males together in relative harmony- could you give me some tips on this?
Sounds like you are planning a excellent future I have two herds , The boys and girls are separate as I don’t breed much as I don’t sell any but do give some away at different times to people who need a friend I use a separate breeding pen so I can select my breeding as age is important and I go on colours and so on . When given plenty of room to run around their nails are maintained naturally so no nail trimming or just a little, when given a range of chewing material, their teeth are maintained naturally A range of different food and they don’t over eat on one thing and live longer and healthier lives Safety is an on going concern, but I bring your yard alive , love from both of us
thanks so much for your feedback. I currently have 2 boys and have given them a part of the yard that is approx 10metres x 5 metres with a hutch that has PVC tunnel entrances (so if there are predators, they can get back in the hutch) They don't stray far from the hutch- only around 2 metres max and I move the hutch around. I am thinking of setting up another hutch with 3 brothers. i would start with both hutches far apart but the backyard being avaliable to both parties. I am just a bit worried about the 2 groups fighting. Will they learn to get along? especially if there are no females around?@@robertgrimesabc
I hope everything is okay with you guys, I haven’t seen any video postings recently. 3 months ago is the last one I’ve seen. We miss you both and the piggies ❤
There isn't much info on this out there and it's because no one actually really knew. If you think guinea pigs as pets.. most people get a cage to keep them in, unfortunately these cages are not big enough for ONE boar let alone 2. My personal opinion (I have a certificate IV in companion animal behaviour, training and nutrition 2019. ) based on my experience, knowledge, research and other peoples experiences) If there is enough space, hides, food and water, they will sort themselves out. I currently have 5 boars living in a yard that's 5 metres by 9 metres. They also have access to the shed where they sleep/ escape from weather. The entrance to the shed is the only place my boars might accidentally run into each other, otherwise they don't have to be near each other if they don't like. Currently, I have 2 boars who have never gotten along/ obviously don't like one another, however, now they know they're space and how much room they really have, they prefer to FLIGHT rather than fight and generally leave each other alone. They are both friends with the other boys, essentially the "herd" but you'll never find them within 30 cms of each other.
