On Sunday, October 14, 2012 at around 12:46pm, Davy Whippet and Rob McLeod broke the Guinness World Record for Longest Flying Disc Throw Caught By a Dog and the WFDF World Record for Distance to Canine Catch with a catch at 134 yards (402 feet). Not only did Davy and Rob break a record that has stood for more than 18 years (set in 1994 by Cheyenne Whippet and Mark Molnar), but Davy also becomes the first dog to officially catch a flying disc over 400 feet.
This is the 4th World Record for Davy and Rob and becomes their first Guinness World Record as a team.
