Interesting video..but it would have been exciting if the view of the crater was included...certainly an adventure that can be added to one's bucket list...👍👍
1st time a climb mt canlaon up to the crater back in 1991. I was still in high school and did it seven more times. And guintobdan is our jumping point.
@@nsan48 Your tourist angle brings up another thought of mine. It seems like there are resorts and cafes at least every 5 to 10 kilometers (even out in the boondocks), how are they all making money?
@@answerman9933 they aren't. I would say 20% or less have enough recurring customers to actually make money. The rest are usually changing owners every couple of years, as new people want to try it themselves or bring new cafe ideas. Guintubdan resort however was always full of day visitors because there are a lot of trails and waterfall pools, besides going up to the volcano. And yes, apparently it is government owned. But sad to see people have not returned yet as before.
