Spot-on,but in my system I am only hearing half of the kit,I can JUST hear the accented Cymbal crash, and other quiet rides faintly, but it no way detracts from this gorgeous backing track for me to play to,it's an absoloute joy!....wish we had this facility in 1959-on! In those days,we had to keep playing the 45 rpm record, down to 33 rpm,and work out all the different parts..bass line, rhythm, drums ,etc, obviously at a lower pitch, then once we knew the notes by ear,and the patterns,we had to re- learn the parts at their correct pitch and tempo, until we got so proficient, that we would just hear the tracks a few times and play it practically straight off...but the word was...practice...practice...and practise!! I know why I am hearing only the right side of a two-track stereo master, that's not the point,I am just impressing the point that there are NO issues with this backing track! Many thanks for uploading it!
For all those Mr knowall's, THIS is the actual backing track from the Shadows Album!!!.. nuff sed!.. apart from a big thank you to the guy for taking thi time and patience to upload it for us proper Shads fans to jam to!!!
I'm having some trouble with this. I'm trying to play it exactly like the song, and it's hitting the bridge before i get to finish the second A section.
[Verse 1] Sleepwalk Instead of dreaming I sleepwalk Cause I lost you And now what am I to do Can't believe that we're through [Verse 2] Sleeptalk Cause I miss you I sleeptalk While the memory of you lingers like a song Darling, I was so wrong [Bridge] The night fills my lonely place I see your face, been through my brain I know, I want you so I still love you And it drives me insane [Verse 3] Sleepwalk Every night I just sleepwalk Please come back And when you walk inside the door I will sleepwalk no more
I keep trying to tell folks..THIS is absoloutely spot- on...no minor chords or bridge issues at all! You are all trying to play it to either live,or later versions of the Shads,or Santo and Johnny's version..this is the original album Shadows version from their first Album! .....and it is perfect to play along with!
