Here is the song I was most worried about FCing. Yes, even more than the Dragonforce songs. I think it's because I never tried to FC it way back in the day, and I always just associated it with being hard. But after playing it through just once, this song is easy peasy compared to some of the shit I've done on clone hero. The only hard parts of this for me are the triple strum and transition after in at 4:43, the part at 5:11 (i missed there like 5 fucking times), and the ascending part at 5:45. After that, this FC was free, I was very consistent at the 2nd solo. Not the best score, missed quite a few easy points, but I'm just happy I FC'd it tbh. I also turned on hyperspeed 5, which was a massive help. It only took me a couple runs after turning on hs5 to FC this. You'll see HS5 in the next few videos too.

You know, I take that back. I would much rather practice the middle section of the song where it hits the hammer on part solo. I would love to get better at it to excel to a decent mid 90 percent range the first time if I miss a few notes since I'm not going to guarantee either myself or others I'm going to make a perfect note streak the first time Practice makes perfect and all these words I'm typing I wrote in less than at least a minute and a half. I average about a good 70 words per minute while typing with some fuck ups but of course if I have excellent coordination with memorizing the keyboard without looking for the past years, then I feel highly confident that I can be more and more coordinated at picking up at Guitar Hero and get my hands to coordinate and become pro at it

did you hit the sp sustains late in the beginning on purpose? do you get extra sp from that or something

nah no reason. However, in certain circumstances, hitting SP sustains late can make it easier to get full whammy. This isn't the case here though

Does hyperspeed actually make it easy to hit notes when you have trouble? I never used hyperspeed at all in RB and GH games.

It makes the notes further apart, and some people can read them better that way. It doesn't affect actually hitting them.

Yeah, what Ko44cHPM is right. It doesn't actually make it easier to hit notes in the sense that it increases the hit window, but for a lot of people it is easier to comprehend the notes if they're spread farther apart, and also having less notes on the screen at one time.

Bit late on this, but try Clone Hero. It's Guitar Hero on PC and you can download songs from all Guitar Hero and Rock Band titles, as well as custom tracks. Just plug in your guitar or get an adapter and you're good to go.

I used to be good at guitar hero. Then I picked up a real guitar in 07, tried guitar hero again in 2019, I sucked major balls. But it’s okay because being good at a real guitar, compared to a meaningless skill on a video game, is far better. But damn I sucked 😂
