GH 3 was my favorite for a long time but after playing 5, I can say that I'm completely in love with it. Everything is so appealing to me from the set list to the way the characters look and are animated down to the way the camera has dynamic zooms and pans. I never realized how lacking 3 and 4 were without those amazing improvements. What I love most about 4, 5, and 6 is the audience singing along to the songs as it made things a lot more immersive for me. The only thing I don't like about 5 and 6 is the occasional fps stutter which felt really off as 3 and 4 always had consistent fps.
I wasn't paying much attention to it when 3 came out, but my first was the bundle for Band Hero, and gh World Tour. They were alright, but went mia for at least a decade before we found them again. Somehow I missed gh5, but I came back into it with 6, warriors of rock. In my opinion it was the best game, for me personally, both in songs and game design. My current musical taste comes directly out of gh6. However, if found out real quick, it likes an old 720p led TV, on my 4k it doesn't seem to work quite right, even with the lag calibrated it has a weird lag to it that makes it hard to play.

My favorite songs: LA Looks that kill Maiden mother and crone The spirit of radio Done with everything, die for nothing Demons Deadbolt Brianstorm 2 minutes to midnight Judith Medicate Incinerate Smells like teen spirit You and me Song 2 They say Sowing season (yeah) Under pressure Sex on fire Mirror people Hungry like the wolf All the pretty faces
Anyone who wants to play this again. Get Clone Hero or Phase Shift if you want more instruments. There are setlists for all or atleast most guitar hero and rockband songs
I got so excited when I saw Sowing Season - Brand New and played it like 3 times in a row when I first played this game! Still one of my favorite bands! 🤘🏻
This game was meant to suit people of all tastes. There are some odd choices here though like superstition and ring of fire? Great songs but they don't have guitars as the main instrument, even though they are played on plastic guitars. Some songs that are so not memorable, I couldn't tell you how they sounded such as LA, Six Days A Week, Mirror People, Nearly Lost You, etc... Also, some B Side Material by A List Bands like Shout it out loud - Kiss, Jailbreak - Thin Lizzy, All The Pretty Faces - The Killers, etc... However, a lot of music I did enjoy in this game. Liked all the metal and prog included plus smells like teen spirit. Some songs I had never heard before like only happy when it rains, back round, woman from Tokyo are really fun to play. Setlist I find ok overall. Still prefer 3, world tour and warriors of rock track listing overall
Get a RGH Trinity 360 if you can. It might be the ultimate rhythm game machine, and fans have even figured out how to get every song from World Tour onwards working with Warriors of Rock, not to mention Rock Band customs allowing for almost infinite content, it's wild.
To me, this was the last great Guitar Hero game and the song selection was the best with a great mix of music genres from all over the decades. To me, this where Guitar Hero peaked.
Não estaria, pois era necessário a venda das guitarras para poder pagar as músicas, e se mantivessem o controle, provavelmente iriam ter que continuar com os covers

Bought this game in 2023, still paid 24 euro for the ps2 version. But man, what a waste of money. The lagging is very hard to play the game. The best ones to play are guitar hero 2, 3, rock the 80’s. Even band hero is better than guitar hero 5.
