Oh hell yeah fellas this is the one we all know and love. This is a fantastic song, like the others in the pack. RB2 nostalgia obviously plays a huge factor into me liking this song so much, and so does that fact that it's challenging and fun to play in both games.
This song has a very high BPM, meaning you get a lot of SP from sustains and SP drains very quickly. RB2 also had a high bpm, but the overdrive drains half as slow as it should, but you retain the very quick OD gain from sustains. fun fact.
The fast BPM in this song makes SP sustains very consequential and makes extra squeezes a bit harder. There are quite a few tough squeezes in this song. The first activation sucks, it's very hard to get to the R on the back end. I could probably get another note in on the second act if I could get a better front end, but it's a slider and yucky. The third activation is also on a slider, but is 10x more yucky because it's a slider B with a slider O right after it, and this all comes right after a BO sustain. It's SUPER easy to miss the front end or miss the actual note because of the way sliders work. All of that ended up being for nothing, because I still didn't even get close to hitting the Y on the back end. Probably better to just do reverse ticks there, it would make everything much easier. I could definitely get another note in on the back end of the 4th activation, I could've done it on this run had I hit the R earlier.
The last act is honestly like top 5% most awkward activation points in the whole series, you're supposed to activate on the 2nd B. I didn't activate early enough, so I got in on the 3rd, which was a downstrum for me because I strum through all those hopo's during the fast strumming because WoR is weird with notes like these. The back end of the squeeze is really just a game of hoping you can end on a downstrum like you're supposed to and that the game didn't eat a strum or give you credit for a hopo you didn't intend to hopo.
This is another one of the songs I played in GHWT before I got started uploading the main setlist for that game. This WT run was 1st place, so I was actually competing against myself to get this 1st place in WoR. Here's that video:
