Yes it is the best GH, especially if you're a hardcore Metallica fan (Like me), this game would be great for you. And it was also so fun to play this on guitar and see how it goes in the game because I play real guitar and it was sooooo fun to play this game.

+HotSalza The notes themselves are what we refer to as tap notes, or purple notes, depending on the person. their main difference compared to normal hammer ons is that you don't need to strum to keep playing them after breaking combo. The strings are there because another way you could play them was using the sliders bar, and you could play them sliding across it (who would've guessed?). The strings are just a visual cue as to the rate of slide you need to keep combo using that method. Only problem is that no one uses this method because it is just unnecessarily cumbersome as opposed to just using the fret buttons.

For the slide bar or for tapping the notes. They are like hammer-ons but you dont have to strum if you miss a note.
