Sounds like a fun song, but it's crazy as hell lol. One of the two only songs that I still have on 3 stars lol (the other one is TTFAF). Overall a crazy and cool song. We could've ended this game on christmas, but honestly, this one fitted better the spirit of christmas, since this one talks about toys and games, things that are really popular on children, so yeah, I hope you all had a good christmas.

Beenox did an amazing job on this job. Hard as hell! A fun fact of this song is that in minute 2:06 this version includes that "AH AH AH AH" part and this is not in the original version. It could be made from Beenox or maybe it's in the master tracks and the label or producer of the song removed it

I played this song on "Hard" difficulty, and I just barely managed to pass the whole thing. Yet, here you are FCing this thing on "Expert." You truly are the God Of Rock, and I am humbled without a doubt to have been graced by your flawless immaculate ability.

You can tell the guitarist was having a lot of fun just doing mini-solos throughout the song.

I have -4 on this, two stupid reverse chokes before the solo. When I got back into GH last year, I set FCing this as my realistic midpoint goal on the road to eventual TTFAF FC. I’m so close, damn.

Another great song that definitely deserves to be here. Also another really fun Expert Bass chart, even though it may be a strumfest. I figure this is the place where I give my thoughts on the game as a whole (I want to have tomorrow's comment be about the FSFC). This game is underrated, like I said in the I Love Rock and Roll video. Had it not been called "Smash Hits", this would have been considered one of the better GH setlists. But since it's "old" songs, that's what turned off a lot of people. It should also be worth mentioning that this song never made it to Rock Band. That's another thing this game got right; getting exclusivity deals to some of the songs included. Currently, I am sitting at 13/48 Expert Bass FC's in this game. Most of the easy ones are out of the way, but I got some pretty tough ones down as well. I'm really proud of my progress, and I have you to thank for me getting to that point. Thank you for being one of a few people who inspired me to pick up the plastic guitar again. Big day tomorrow, I hope you're as excited as I am....

*KILL THE GUY WITH THE BALL!* The penultimate song of the game, and the final song on the setlist of Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80's. Play With Me makes absolutely no sense at all, and it's fucking awesome because of that. Going all over the place with random references to stuff that kids like, it falls into the guilty pleasure category quite nicely. Now, this song got some major buffs in the transition from GH80's to GHSH, turning a song that was already extremely difficult into one of the hardest songs in the entire series. There's plenty of sections in here that will trip you up, the most notorious part being the slider pattern from hell at the start of the final chorus. This is one song where the raw difficulty of the chart itself makes squeezing it even more of a pain. Moose was fortunate to get all of the squeezes he knew about in this run, but there could be 400 points still remaining to get. Tomorrow is the day...the endings are always bittersweet when you're having so much fun.

Here we are at the penultimate song of the game, everyone! Can't believe there's only one more left. And what a way to end the main 7 tiers! This song was alot of fun to play! Let's see what I thought for this song: (Note: As in previous explanations, there are mentions of HO and PO. These stand for "Hammer-Ons" and "Pull-Offs", otherwise known as "HOPO's".) In the Career Mode, this song is the encore for Tier 5. Just like "Bark at the Moon" (which is also in Tier 7 on Guitar), this song is considerably easier on Bass than Guitar, but it does have its challenge points, although it mainly doesn't start to kick in until the 2nd verse. For starters, the verses are relatively easy overall with simple strumming on Red, although the pattern changes up at the "Do you wanna play?" part in the lyrics. The only part that may be tricky in the verses is the Open - Green - Red - Open - Green pattern leading into the pre-chorus, but nothing really too major here. From there, you get into the chorus, and much like the verses, it's pretty basic all-around. The main thing to watch out for in the first chorus is the Red - YB - HO Orange pattern. I'd play this as if it were a HO chord, so keep holding Blue as you hit the Orange. Now, this is also a Star Power phrase, so be sure to nail it! Following this, you're into another verse/pre-chorus/chorus, and they're pretty much the same as before with minor differences. In the pre-chorus, for instance, there's an extended BO chord leading into a PO Blue - PO Yellow - PO Red pattern leading into the chorus, while the chorus has a Red - Red - PO Green - PO Open pattern that repeats twice, and also a Red - YB - HO Orange that plays twice as well, but it's much faster than in the first chorus. Again, just play the Orange note as if it was a HO chord and hold Blue as you hit it. Also in the chorus, is a pattern that goes like this: Yellow - PO Red - PO Green - HO Red - HO Yellow Blue - PO Yellow - PO Red - HO Yellow - HO Blue Orange - PO Blue - PO Yellow - HO Blue - HO Orange After the second chorus comes the bridge, and in it, there's a REALLY fast Slider section that has Star Power attached to it. Just do your best to hit it. Don't worry about the Star Power if you don't need it. (But I, for the life of me, just CANNOT GET THIS PHRASE. I can't move my fingers fast enough to hit it!) Then comes some extended GY chords, but these are really easy to hit, so nothing to worry about here. And then... it's solo time! This part consists of mostly alt-strumming, so pay attention to the fret changes and you'll be okay. Just be wary of the Blue - HO Orange - Orange pattern that repeats near the end. Alt-strum those if you need to. Afterwards, the song finishes up with a third chorus, which is basically a combination of the first two. Watch out for the Red - YB - HO Orange patterns, especially the last one leading into the outro since there is a BO chord after the Orange note. (See why I said to play the Oranges like a HO chord?) The outro has a pattern of extended chords, starting with Open - Red, then GY, RB, and finally YO. This repeats twice before the song ends on Red. In review, just like "Bark at the Moon" and "Raining Blood", this song is considerably easier on Bass than it is on Guitar. However, you don't want to underestimate this song, as some parts can and will trip you up if you aren't ready!

All the charts for this song are all chaotic including drums and vocals, and you know what its pretty good. Its pretty damn hard too but overall, still waiting for RB inclusion.

This was my last expert 5 star on this game. I'm not sure why it made me have such a bad time. Right after I 5 starred it, my friend asked why it took so long and 5 starred it on like his 3rd try. I haven't 5 starred it since, but I'm not sure if he ever 5 starred ttfaf. I guess we're even.

Last act double def is possible, it’s just like the second act squeeze you got here. Slow down 2:03 and you didn’t get whammy on the first frames of the green sustain too, strumming act still not sure if another 200 is possible

I can FC this song on Hard. That's good enough to get me gold stars on my Setlist (amongst my Expert FCs.) I can only get 5 black stars on Expert. Much harder than GH80s. Honestly though, tier 5 (the Sphinx) is easier than tiers 3 & 4. How is 'Monkey Wrench' below 'KitN' and 'Mother'? Those were hard on this engine.
