Very nice tutorial Mike. I built one just the same as this a few years ago after seeing one on Mark Baileys excellent guitar build video series during lockdown. They are perfect for routing the neck angle in. I am just doing a PRS style carved top build but with N ABR-1 bridge and my geometry needed a 3.9 degree angle on the heel to make it right for the bridge with a 24.65” scale. I don’t think I have seen anyone else show the full jig being made so this is great and will help a lot of other builders out there. Great job as ever Mike!
Hi Pete. Its the zero or reset stop position and protractor that make it so easy to use. Many thanks for your comment it is very much appreciated. Mike
That’s brilliant ! I’m just about to cut the neck angle on my Les Paul Jr neck and tried to figure out how to do it in a consistent way ! Thank you very much for your videos and beginner friendly content : you helped me a lot in my journey as an « amateur electric luthier »
Thank you for your great comment, it is very much appreciated. Pleased you liked the film. I’m just finishing a Les Paul Jr build for my RU-vid. It will be published in 3 weeks. Mike
