Awesome!! More Norm on Hammond please. Not sure if Wilson Pickett did Knock On Wood... but Eddie Floyd wrote and released the original (co-composed by Tele legend Steve Cropper)

I don’t know about the US, but in the England in the sixties, Knock on Wood was a huge hit for the Stax duo Sam & Dave.

@@cliffwheeler7357 are you sure? Original was by Eddie Floyd, that was the big hit. Otis Redding did a version with Carla Thomas. Eddie Floyd toured with Otis + Sam & Dave during the 1967 tour of Europe and UK. Then there was the Amii Stewart disco version in the 70s.

Were these: “dark” circuit, tone knob one, and then just direct out? Fender might find a market for something like that, but maybe instead of going “dark” just have it be a mid cut on control the same tone knob. (Gives that wah-wah locked in place sound).

Yep, that’s the three positions. Check out “Eldred wiring” for a modern Fender alternative to the mud circuit…it’s pretty much what you’re suggesting.
