I worked for Semie Moseley during the Summer of 1963 in his shop on Panama Lane, Bakersfield CA. I am looking the discarded body of a flamed guitar I made just before I went into the Air Force. It was last seen at the P Street Factory. It is the same design as the one Semie and I sold to Dave Meyers and The Surftones. A photograph of this guitar is found by a Google search using the keywords: Dave Meyers Mosrite

Every song on the first two Stooges albums (I believe, I'm no expert). If you google Dave Alexander, you'll find pictures. It's also in the group picture on the Funhouse gatefold cover!

The Ventures. That takes me back. Way back. Like that cartoon... with the dog and the kid... that always went back into time.. in the "WABAC" machine.. Mr. Peabody and Sherman.. ya.. that's right. If I could go back in time.. I'd go back and "Wipe Out" that show "Back to the Future".. because that whole time travel thing.. and Marty McFly playing guitar at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance always blew my mind. He should've smashed Chuck Berry's cousin's guitar. Then.. that would've started the shtick .. the guitar smashing scene.. but they fuhked it all up.

Not a 67... It's earlier, like a 65. No markings on knobs, this has kluson tuners, truss rod adjustment at body end. A 67 will have V and T and 1-5 on knobs truss rod adjusts at head stock and a black cover 67 has Mosrite duckfoot tuners. The tuning keys are machined to look like the headstock

Yup. I was curious to scroll through the comments and see if anyone caught this. On top of all the stuff you mentioned, a '67 wouldn't have the greened-out guard, and not likely to have the single pickup.

There is a buzzzzz on the A string at fret 8, I think it is. Fret job not quite finished, but cool bass.

cool color and I like the carved top , the sound is quite good , very thumpy , what's with the angled pick up tho , and the short scale ? , why? is it like a junior , or a starter ? , I don't get it , very thumpy tho

I almost bought a 68 with 2 pickups for 200 bucks back in 87. It was a darker color with a sort of sunburst look. Even with double dead strings it rattled the store's windows. Bought a T60 instead.

Yeah, many are saying it's the bass line from the Venture's tune "Apache", but I agree with you. That first track Mark lays out definitely sounds "doom and gloom", like somthing off of Sabbath's first album!! 👍👍

@@guitarocd9984 it was my brothers. He purchased it for next to nothing in the late 90s, disassembled and spray painted brown, but all the parts were there and he restored it beautifully. It plays like a champ. He was kind enough to leave it to me when he died. I treasure it and play it often. \m/

Troy Fact the human brain does not stop growing until the age 23 some people not until 25. If Frank Stallone knows this surely President Trump does also.... It should be illegal for 21 & 22 year olds to buy mind altering drugs like cigarettes & alcohol.... Prozac is not illegal??? Chemicals are not healthy for the human body or brain. Figure it out!

I live in Texas Fact there is a alcohol related death every day in Texas on a road. You just cant argue with the facts. Education is the only way to win a war on drugs! Alcohol is a drug... Fact alcohol kills brain cells. Fact exercise can regenerate brain cells but can do nothing for dead cells! Do you notice yourself slowing down??? Just not as quick as you use to be.... Troy check out Judge Nora Longoria on youtube.... she knows the law.... she is a South Texas Judge who got caught and got away with it (DWI) Same goes for Judge Guy Williams another South Texas Judge who knows the law and got away with breaking laws.... Its crazy living here.... loco weed is against the law... nobody knows what cannabis is! Fact here in Texas we have a judge get caught breaking laws every year.
