Thank you!!! This is the first GP8 (or any other version) video I’ve found where the provider goes through (almost) every feature SLOWLY and explains function for a neophyte beginner, ie me! I now finally feel like I can start using!! Thank you very much!
I clicked your video because the thumbnail wasn't a superimposed image of someone with their mouth gaping open like they've had a lobotomy. Thank you. Edit: I upgraded with your affiliate link. If you don't get the credit let me know, I took a video of the checkout process.
Thank you very much! Your comment has legitimately made my day 😊 I haven't checked to see if I got the credit yet but thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
I extracted a song from a new band I'm in ( dropped a#), and I just want this to tab it out. Intermediate bassist in death metal. Getting nowhere. Is there a simple link?.. long winged as you are. I might as well Ear it.
🎸 Get your copy of Guitar Pro here: www.guitar-pro.com/#ae566 This is going to be part of a series where I walk through how to use Guitar Pro. What would you like to see?
Andrew Smith Music I wood like to see step by step on how to put [ sheet music, books ] on guitar pro from start to finish and written down so I don't miss a thing and do new lesson each week or month . Think you Alan
question 1] how do you get the sound like in the beginning of moving on by Missouri band keyboard sound 2] audio track = how do I slow down audio track& Guitar Pro8 to line up the same speed Can you do a written out step by step on how to for Dummies I'm trying to learn how to tab out songs .I'm having prob problems tabing out .I now how to read it don't know how to tab out on guitar pro. for windows 10 and Mac Think you some much Alan P.S I LOVE MY GUITAR PRO 8
Hey there Alan! 1) Firstly, I can't believe I have never heard that song so thank you for putting me onto it because I love it! That keyboard sound sounds like more of a 'pad' or lead kind of sound to me. So you would find something close in this section of the instruments tab (right hand panel of guitar pro). 2) So you can slow down the audio and guitar pro track using the relative speed setting up the top next to the tempo and metronome or ctrl + 9. You can then adjust this to a percentage of the actual tempo of the song. I can certainly start working on a step by step guide for that! I'd be more than happy to do that. Glad you're loving guitar pro! And thank you for the comment!
Is it possible to write for two (or more?) instruments at once on the same score .. I've been looking round the internet for days and can't get an answer to this anywhere? So, can I have two separate staves above and below each other for say guitar and bass or rhythm and lead?
Great question! The best way I can think of to do this would be to turn on the multi instrument view. You can do this from the menu up the top. Unfortunately you still have to write each instrument in separately but they will be above and below each other on the score (great for doing a bass and treble part). Once you've enabled the multi track view you can then just select which instruments you want in your view. Hope this helps in some way 🤘🎸
@@AndrewSmith_Music yes, I've just figured it out ... One must "Add Track" by right-clicking on the track at the bottom of the page, only then is it possible to click on "Multitrack" in the view tab (or press F3) and have two separate tracks to score (Bass/Guitar, Rhythm & lead Guitar etc.). Thanks for the reply, Andrew ... regards from Donegal!
So you can either: - Add the chord diagrams with the mouse - Use the ' A' key for the keyboard shortcut ( I have a video with 50 guitar pro shortcuts here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UrodlAV0Lzg.html) - Or you can tab out the chords themselves
It certainly can! I've found I usually just have to change some of the sounds for the instruments to get them to sound how I want. But other than that it should open perfectly 😊
