In this video I review the latest update to Guitar Rig, Guitar Rig 7. I review all the amps that our offered in the package. I broke the Video down into 4 sections. My opinion is that Guitar Rig 7 is a huge improvement over Guitar Rig 6. I wish Native Instruments had done these necessary upgrades sooner

Thanks Hammingus, I'm glad the video helped. I love the added A/B switch option on the Speaker cabs. The room tones sound a lot better than previous versions too

Still using guitar rig 5 and love it with a custom sound card & upgraded op amps. Is the input delay improved with GuitarRig 7?

Hey Daswede, I personally haven't noticed any input delay issues with either version recently. Your sound card sounds like it's working great so I don't know why you would be getting input delay. There's a lot of other factors with your computer that could be affecting that. Have you tried other guitar plug-ins to see if you still get the same latency issue? That's the first trouble shooting step I would try. I also noticed gearspace has a lot threads on how to get rid of Guitar rig 5 latency as a standalone plug-in.

@@jimiwolfsolos3119 thanks for the quick reply!! Not too much latency, ASIO buffer is 112. I think there is just always going to be a bit more latency on simulator vs an actual amp with pedals. Have noticed playing with actual amplifier has quicker response than a cab sim usually
