Got my guitar hooked up to an interface and running through reaper. If I download this, I could just click around like you are in this video and record with these sounds? Simple as that? :0
I went ahead and picked up guitar rig 5 from the official website because of this video. Thank you so much, your website looked very well done and loaded with helpful info. You got a new sub 👍
I tried to use MIDI control pedal to switch on/off of pedals in guitar rig5 in logic pro x, however I have to hold on, keep stepping on the MIDI pedal to sustain the ON status. Everytime I release my foot off the MIDI pedal, the tone switched to OFF. Are there any possibilities to solve this problem? Tap the MIDI pedal then tone gets switched?
hi, it might be because of the setting on your midi pedal and not something with guitar rig. If you check the manual perhaps you can set at pedal to a toggle instead of a button and see if that works or vice versa
@@MusicSequencing Yes, I figured out there is a little switch in my pedal which could change the mode of the pedal. After put it back in position, I could finally use my pedal to turn on/off the sound effects. BTW, I'm using Guitar Rig 5 to process my guitar sound to Logic Pro X. Everytime I record my guitar track, I could here the post-processed sound, however when I replay the track I just recorded, it respond to guitar rig 5. I could tap my volume pedal to control wah effect to that track. This is not what I looking for. Do you have any idea how to record guitar playing with effect, and how to fix the recorded track with those effect without being effected by plug-ins after recorded?
@@MusicSequencing No, I'm using Guitar Rig 5 as a plug-in in DAW. My new question is the recorded guitar track is not fixed with pedal effects. When I record guitar playing, I'm using wah pedal to decorate the track. However the recorded track does not have the wah effect I just recorded. The track is raw which means I could change the sound effects even when I finished recording. This is not what I expect.
@@brandonhuang9251 Try putting the track in "touch" mode automation before recording. My guess is the midi from your pedal is controlling guitar rig via logic's smart controls.
