And to think about all that thought going into the musical sound and arrangement, tablas and flangers and wah wah pedals......and then you find out the meaning of the song original humans 42&2 Chromosones, then we evolved (we stood up) to 44&2 (present day)..Maynard is talking about the next evolution of mankind....to 46&2....desiring to be "the next level"....when you do TooL song episodes, they should be called "when Geniuses make music"......
Loved it man! You’re the only reactor I’ve seen who owns that they’ve heard it before, but it still feels fresh to watch. Would love to see you take on Descending soon. Thanks for this!
So how much tool have you heard exactly? Absolutely tho, tool is a very rhythm driven band they make that work so well, melodies they craft are also great, unique and memorable to me! Started listening to these guys only in August/September of 2022 even tho heard lateralus and fear inoculum for the first time a few months prior to that but they didnt click as me much with me initially, but they've quickly become my favorite band. I think only when i got danny carey pneuma drum cam in my recommended thats when suddenly something just clicked. And ever since, ive been listening to these guys non stop. I even felt inspired wnough i picked up my first instrument, and thats been super fun. And by the way im seeing them live for the first time ever in January and im so effing excited. But yeah. Oh and previous favorite was radiohead by the way. I enjoy ur videos because u seem knowledgeable and passionate about music, and you have a chill attitude about things. Also love how u appreciate the bass. People dont realize how much of an important and amazing instrument it is! Anyways, love these vids lol! Genuinely speaking, music is my favorite thing about life other than my family and friends. Cheers Edit: i was wasted when i wrote this what a mess my apologies lol
Would LOVE to see you do 'You Lied' off their Salival album! If you don't already know it's a cover of a Peach song, who is Justin Chancellor's previous band. It has a killer groove, one of my absolute favorites! Enjoying you reactions/analysis', sub'd for more.
@@Literallyjustmint This one I know. This one came from his Tool audition! It's more for songs like Invincible, etc. Where they're actively f'ing with the lead.
